He walked up to Saeko, gently lifting her chin so that their eyes met.
"If you can't find enemies to fight, then become my blade. My enemies will be your enemies."
Saeko's eyes glistened with emotion. Her body, her mindeverything felt as though it had been reshaped by Rei Ao. She realized she was a blade, capable of losing control, but all she needed was someone to wield her.
And that person was Rei Ao.
"Please, Rei Ao-kun, let me become your blade," she whispered.
The chat system chimed with a new notification.
[Ding! Saeko Busujima has initiated a trade!]
[Trade Offer]: Until total exhaustion.

"Does becoming my blade really excite you that much? Then let's begin," Rei Ao grinned.

Chapter 29: Ability Fusion
The sound of rushing water startled Sakurajima Mai awake after a restless night. When she stepped out of her room, she was met with the sight of Rei Ao, fresh out of the shower, with only a towel wrapped around his waist. His well-defined muscles glistened with water droplets.
"Ah, good morning, Mai," Rei Ao yawned, stretching lazily as he greeted her.
"!!"
Mai had never seen such a sight before and immediately averted her gaze in embarrassment.
"Y-you just got back?" she asked awkwardly.
Rei Ao, now lounging comfortably on the sofa, stretched again before replying, "I had no choice. It took some effort to completely exhaust Saeko."
"Huh?" Mai's mind went blank for a moment.
"D-don't talk about such filthy things with me!" she shouted, flustered. Everyone in the chat group had seen the details of Saeko's trade. Even Frieren had expressed curiosity, wondering if it was truly possible for someone to become that exhausted. However, no one in the group, aside from Saeko and Ayame, had any experience to answer that question. And frankly, no one wanted to dwell on the topic.
Doing a quick calculation, Mai realized that nearly ten hours had passed.
Wait, why am I even thinking about something this dirty?! she thought, feeling even more upset. Shooting a glare at Rei Ao, she stormed back into her room and slammed the door shut.
"Heh." Rei Ao glanced after her with an amused smile. "You'll get used to it eventually, Mai. After all, it's only a matter of time before you're mine too."
He then pondered for a moment, wondering how Saeko was holding up.

As for Saeko, the trio of Rei Miyamoto, Saya Takagi, and Shizuka Marikawa had no idea how she was doing either, but they were certainly not in great shape themselves. Rei nervously peeked through the slightly open door that Shizuka had left ajar. Rei Ao and Ayame were nowhere to be seen, leaving behind only the oddly scented, disheveled room, and the unconscious Saeko lying on the bed, breathing steadily.
"Is Saeko-senpai... okay?" Rei asked awkwardly, her cheeks flushed red.
Shizuka stepped out of the room, her own face tinged with color. "Saeko's fine," she said. "I checked her overshe's just completely exhausted and, well... severely dehydrated."
Even as a medical professional, Shizuka couldn't quite believe what she had seen. She understood the basic biology behind it but couldn't fathom how anyone could be left in such a state after, well, that. And how could Rei Ao last for so many hours without resting?
"That guy went way too far, didn't he? Doesn't he know how to show any gentleness?" Saya complained, fuming.
"Actually, I think Saeko-senpai requested the trade herself," Rei quietly reminded her.
"Uh..." Saya flushed red with embarrassment, realizing that was true. "Still, it's way too perverted!"
Rei hesitated but didn't voice her thoughts aloud. A part of her was starting to envy Saeko's newfound strength and power.

When Rei Ao arrived at school the next day, he was in an excellent mood. Not only had he spent quality time experimenting with Saeko and Ayame, but his strength had also increased significantly.

Chapter 30: Two Angel Transfer Student and Ice Princess?!
Frieren: "Magic that used to require precise manipulation now feels as natural as moving my limbs."
Frieren was thrilled by this profound transformation, which made her magic instinctive and easy to control. The impact of this change was enormous, allowing her to wield magic effortlessly.
Stella: "Sigh, this feature is useless for me."
In fact, most of the group members couldn't benefit from it. Either they lacked abilities altogether, or their abilities were too simple to merge. In theory, Saeko's abilities could also be fused, but no one knew if she had woken up yet.

Rei Ao paused, detecting a faint trace of jealousy in her otherwise neutral tone.
'So even Megumi can get jealous,' he mused, feeling a subtle amusement but keeping it hidden.
"Not at all," he denied. "I was just testing out a new feature."
Megumi stared into his eyes for a moment before simply replying, "Oh."
Then, with her usual calm demeanor, she mentioned, "By the way, there's a new transfer student in the second year today."
"A transfer student, huh..." Rei Ao replied with little interest. School held no appeal for him anymoreonce he had conquered the girls, including even the more mature Hiratsuka Shizuka, he could leave without regrets. The only thing that would catch his attention now would be a familiar anime heroine.
"They say the new student looks like an angel, a cute underclassman. Aren't you curious?" Megumi said, as if testing him.
Rei Ao immediately perked up, standing at attention. Grabbing Megumi's shoulders with sudden urgency, he asked, "Which class?"
"..."
Megumi's gaze darkened slightly.
"It seems you're just as much of a lecher as I thought," she muttered.
Rei Ao, sensing the misunderstanding, quickly clarified, "No, no, you misunderstood. I'm not excited because she's a cute girl."
He smiled slyly. "Just seeing you, Megumi, is enough to get me excited."

Megumi couldn't understand how Rei Ao could say something so embarrassing with such seriousness. Her expression didn't change, but she felt her heart rate increase.
Rei Ao quickly changed the subject, now speaking with more focus. "You mentioned an angel... I have a feeling this might be a real angel."
Megumi blinked, momentarily thrown off by the shift in conversation. "A real angel?"
Rei Ao nodded, recalling his recent encounter with true angels. "It's very possible."
Realizing he might be onto something serious, Megumi's playful attitude vanished. "She's in Class 1 of the second year," she informed him.
"I'll go check it out."

Rei Ao made his way to the second-year area at the far end of the hall. He rarely came here, but today was an exception. As he approached the classroom, he noticed a crowd gathered outside, excitedly talking about a student who really looked like an angel.
A smirk tugged at Rei Ao's lips.
"Gabriel White Tenma."
There was no longer any doubt. The new transfer student was indeed an angel.
"Is that Rei Ao-senpai?" A girl in the crowd gasped, and several others followed suit, stepping aside to make room for him.
Rei Ao nodded politely as he moved toward the window. Inside the classroom, he saw two radiant figures.
Gabriel. Raphiel.
They were smiling and greeting everyone, their angelic auras literally glowing.
No wonder people said they looked like angels. Even Rei Ao, with his heightened perception, found their holy light almost blinding.
The two angels seemed to notice him as well, turning toward him at the same time.
With a sigh, Rei Ao addressed them. "Gabriel, Raphiel, can we talk?"
The air in the hallway seemed to freeze for a moment.
What was going on? Did they know each other?
What was even more shocking was that the two beautiful, angelic transfer students both nodded in agreement.
As the three of them left together, rumors quickly spread. The story of the two angelic transfer students knowing the most popular boy in school spread like wildfire, even reaching the third-year students.
Hearing the rumors, a girl with black hair and red eyes stood up from her seat.
"No shouting or crowding in the hallway!" she ordered in a cold, authoritative voice.
In an instant, the crowd dispersed, everyone too scared to defy her.
After all, she was the student council president of the academy, known as the "Ice Princess."

Chapter 31: The Heavens Attitude
The three individuals involved didn't care much about the surrounding commotion.
On the familiar rooftop, Rei Ao addressed the two angels.
"How should I address you two angelic ladies?"
"Gabriel White Tenma."
"Raphiel Ainsworth Shiraha."
"Alright, I'll call you Tenma and Shiraha," Rei Ao replied. "Why are you two here?"
Gabriel responded, "It's because of you"
Before she could say more, Raphiel tugged on her sleeve, reminding her to be cautious.
"Anyway," Gabriel continued, "it's because you're a special awakened individual. Heaven sent us to observe you."
She kept her explanation vague but made it clear that Rei Ao was the reason they were there.
Raphiel, smiling gently, kept her eyes narrowed, watching Rei Ao carefully. "You seem different now, Rei Ao-senpai," she remarked knowingly.
"Yes, I feel much stronger in the past few days," Rei Ao admitted, unfazed. There was no reason to hide his growing power.
"As expected" Raphiel muttered to herself.
She could sense that Rei Ao's power had grown tremendously. Even highly skilled angels couldn't fully grasp the depth of his strength. Gabriel exchanged a glance with Raphiel, both silently acknowledging their surprise. His growth in such a short time was astounding.
Could the world's first awakened human truly be this unique? No wonder Heaven was paying so much attention to him. Even Gabriel, a distinguished graduate from Heaven, had been sent down for this mission. Her sister, Tenma Zelel White, was one of Heaven's strongest seraphim, and although Gabriel herself wasn't at that level, she still had the potential to become the next seraphim.
The fact that someone like Gabriel had been dispatched to observe Rei Ao showed how seriously Heaven was taking this. Rumor had it that even the demon world was planning to send representatives soon.
"Observation, huh?" Rei Ao pondered. It seemed that Heaven had no ill intentions toward him, which was reassuring.
