Guards behind it pointed their guns at the breach.
The Empress and the other officials stood huddled in the back, pale with fear.
"Open fire!" barked the head of security.
Bullets rained toward Takumi's robot.
But moments later, a magnetic field shield activated, freezing every bullet mid-air.
"Lay down your weapons. I won't warn you again."
The robot's voice resounded.
Now clearly aware of the situation, the guards stared at their useless weapons.
Their bullets couldn't even scratch the robot. It was like bringing knives to a missile fight.
Seeing no other choice, they backed off.
Takumi guided the robot into the room, immediately spotting the Empress.
He had to admitshe looked good.
White hair, white stockingsright up his alley.
"Come with me, Your Majesty."
"You don't have a choice."
The room fell silent.
When lives were at stake, dignity was meaningless.
Even the Empress's personal guards stepped aside.
"I'll go with you," she said after a deep breath.
"But please, don't harm anyone here."
She didn't know what they wanted from her.
But as the robot had said, she had no choice.
If she resisted, everyone else would die.
And clearly, these robots were far beyond what she could handle.
To be honest, she still thought this was a dream.
Who would've guessed? Star-destroyers showing up out of nowhere?
What a surreal morning.
Takumi, seeing her cooperation, ordered the other robots to protect her and escort her out.
He released control of the robot he had been piloting.
Under heavy guard, the Holy Empress was brought outside.
The once heavily-defended complex was now eerily empty.
All resistance had been crushed. Even the body of the squad captain had already been cleaned up by the robots.
Only a pool of blood remained.
The Empress stared at the blood and felt a pang of sorrow.
But the robots didn't care about her feelings.
Soon, a small ship descended from the sky.
It had been tasked with gathering cursed children, and now also served to retrieve the Empress.
The ship's interior was already crowded with ragged children.
As she boarded, she was met with wide-eyed stares.
The children recognized her.
They had seen her on street TVs.
Now she was with themon this strange ship bound for who knows where.
Curious children began asking her questions.
The Holy Empress, still overwhelmed, tried to explain.
"I don't really know either," she admitted. "I didn't come here willingly."
The children were even more confused.
Still, as she spoke with them, her tension began to ease.
The children's pure and inquisitive eyes helped her relax.
They weren't afraidso neither should she be.
As they chatted, the ship approached the main Star-Destroyer.
Only now did the passengers realize just how massive it was.
The difference between a skyscraper and a toy car.
Chapter 31: A Traitor Among Us
Takumi's Star-Destroyer was absurdly massive.
When the Holy Empress and the others arrived, they finally grasped the scale.
The shuttle they had ridden in was already several times the size of a bus. Yet when compared to the Star-Destroyer, it felt no bigger than a bug.
It was like driving into the underground parking garage of a skyscraper.
The shuttle entered from a hangar bay on the bottom of the Star-Destroyer, landing in a designated area.
The hatch opened. An onboard AI instructed everyone to disembark in an orderly fashion.
Hearing this, the children aboard began quietly filing out.
The hangar was huge. Several other ships were docked there, and numerous robots worked to maintain order, directing people toward other areas.
Two robots approached the Holy Empress and her group.
One robot led the children away.
The other turned to the Holy Empress.
"Please board me," it said.
The robot transformed into a transport pod.
Without a word, the Holy Empress stepped on, gripping the handrails.
The transport lifted off and carried her away.
The children who had come with her watched curiously.
The Holy Empress was here too?
Where was she going?
No one answered. Robots began escorting the children to rest areasor directly into Imaginary Space.
Takumi had opened many portals to his Imaginary Space where the children could rest. He would transport them all together later.
Meanwhile, the Holy Empress was brought to Takumi's private chamber.
She hesitated at the door, then stepped inside.
Only Takumi was there.
Seeing him, the Holy Empress froze.
Wasn't this the man from the computer screenthe mastermind behind everything?
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Takumi. I come from another world," he said with a faint smile.
The Holy Empress was dumbfounded.
"You... Why are you doing this?"
Unable to hold back, she questioned him.
Takumi looked confused.
Why was he doing this?
Did he really need to explain that to her?
Weren't they the ones who had abandoned those children?
Naive.
"Well... your world had some traitors."
"They believed life would be better in another world."
"And frankly, your world's treatment of those poor kids..."
"They are your salvation, and yet you cast them aside."
"So, out of humanitarian concern, I came. Any problem with that?"
...
Plenty of problems!
The Holy Empress had so many questions, but couldn't voice any of them.
There were traitors in their world?
People who made contact with another world?
Her mind buzzed.
Takumi, seeing her speechless, waved his hand and opened a portal to Imaginary Space.
"Go on in. Stay there for now."
He said nothing about taking her away.
Once inside, others would explain.
The Holy Empress stared at the portal, bit her lip, then stepped through.
She was like a fish on a chopping blockpowerless.
All she could do was submit.
As she emerged into Imaginary Space, she was stunned.
Countless cursed children were there. So were many adultsand familiar faces.
"Mr. Shiba...?"
Seeing Miori's father, she was stunned.
Why were they here?
There were many executives from Shiba Heavy Industries too!
Traitors found!
In that moment, everything clicked.
People had whispered that something was wrong inside Shiba Heavy.
That President Shiba had fallen ill... that the company was selling off assets...
Looking back, they had clearly been planning to flee all along.
Hearing her voice, Miori's father turned and hurried over.
Recognizing a familiar face, the Holy Empress immediately demanded answers.
She needed clarity.
She had to understand why the world collapsed, why she was brought here, and what awaited her.
Miori's father didn't hide anything.
He explained everything they had discussed with Takumi.
"In short, please stay here for now, Your Grace."
...
After understanding the situation, the Holy Empress was completely dumbfounded.
Takumi had no desire to manage things himself.
So he brought her to his world to govern it in his place?
What?
She was speechless.
"We'll discuss specifics later. For now, please rest here."
Miori's father returned to his work, leaving her staring blankly.
Takumi, meanwhile, paid no attention.
He continued retrieving cursed children and vetted citizens.
Those willing to leave were brought onboard.
Those who resisted? Ignored.
Takumi had made his stance clear.
If you wanted to leave, talk to the nearest robot.
If the scan and data check cleared, you could go.
If notrejected.
Many freeloaders tried to sneak in.
The robots ignored them.
Some grew angry and attacked.
The result? Swift retribution.
Under Takumi's overwhelming force, no one dared to resist.
Those who tried were killed.
Even heavy weaponry proved useless.
From morning till night, the operation lasted an entire day.
By then, Takumi had gathered nearly all the cursed children.
The few who remained were those who refused to leave.
Chapter 32: Destroying a CivilizationSadly, No Reward
Takumi's robotic army scoured the entire world.
Once every corner had been confirmed cleared, the robots began to retreat one by one.
The fleet of ships, now filled to capacity with lolis, returned to the Star-Destroyer.
These ships moved at incredible speed. Even at full capacity, a round trip took no more than twenty minutes.
After all, they were built using technology from the Honkai universe.
Transporting the girls wasn't the problemfinding them had been the real challenge.
Thankfully, most of them lived in or near towns. Anywhere there was life, there were lolis.
The rest were hidden in places like sewers. Even the ones who hadn't known what was happening were quickly brought up to speed by the robots.
Once they understood, they willingly agreed to come along.
Some caretakers even chose to accompany them.
This world didn't have many settlements.
But with cooperation from the robotic units, Takumi gathered nearly every cursed child within a single day.
Feeding so many was a challenge.
Luckily, the robots handled most logistics.
And Takumi's Imaginary Space had abundant food supplies.
The now-idle Star-Destroyers were returned into his Imaginary Space.
When the last ship arrived, Takumi prepared to depart.
As the final ships left orbit and the massive Star-Destroyers disappeared from the sky, a wave of relief washed over the population.
This day had been pure agony.
Now, finally, the terror seemed to have passed.
Internet access was restored, and people rushed to speak freely again.
Online chatter was flooded with speculation: "Otherworld invaders," "cursed children," "the Holy Empress was taken and hasn't returned."
Even the news of the Tendou family's destruction was overshadowed.
Nobody seemed to care.
Takumi observed this world one last time.
His eyes grew cold.
His aura thickened.
"A parting gift, then~"
Takumi was in a fantastic mood.
He'd probably never return here.
Even Miori Shiba had come with him. There was nothing left to hold him back.
And so, the Honkai descended.
Corruption spread through every corner of the world.
The Gastrea would slowly be mutated by this new force.
They were already a nightmare.
Now, with Honkai energy?
Heh~
With the cursed children gone, this world was doomed to a slow death.
Add in the Honkai? Total destruction was just days away.
Too bad he didn't possess a Tree of Imaginary Numbers.
If he had, destroying a civilization might have earned him some cosmic reward.
But Takumi's End Cocoon didn't come from the Treeit was entirely his own creation.
So wiping out a civilization gave him no real benefit.
No matter.
Satisfaction was reward enough.
Having completed his work, Takumi turned to leave.
Rather than linger, he needed to return and begin organizing his new world.
Building a proper civilization, becoming strongerthat was his true path.
He had only spent one day in this world.
But to its people, it had felt like a dreamor a nightmare.
Though Takumi had left, the damage he caused would remain.
The Gastrea had not reacted during his presence.
Animals are far more perceptive than humans.
They had sensed Takumi's overwhelming threat and frozen in fear.
Even the colossal airborne variants had dared not move.
But now that Takumi was gone, the Gastreawho had played dead all dayfinally relaxed.
And then...
A new power fused with them.
One that drove them to crave total destruction.
...
The world of Black Bullet would now spiral down a path that no longer concerned Takumi.
He had already returned home.
Takumi:
["Made it back safe."]
["Exploiting system bugs really works!"]
He was delighted.
With a single teleportation talisman, he had transported millions.
Happy~!
If he had to pay for that many individually, it might've been impossible.
But now? Bug exploited!
Chika Fujiwara:
["So jealous~!"]
Bronya:
["With that, your world finally has people. Not bad."]
Indeed, Takumi's world now had a population.
According to Miori's earlier report, it was likely several million.
Zhongli:
["With that settled, I can finally rest easy."]
Seeing that the exploit worked, Zhongli felt relief.
He could now prepare Liyue in the same waystore everyone inside spatial devices and evacuate as needed.
Even if Teyvat collapsed, his people would have a refuge.
This brought him great comfort.
Miori Shiba:
["You there yet? Open the portal already!"]
Stop chatting, okay?
If you're already home, then let us out!
They were still stuck in Takumi's Imaginary Space.
Seeing her message, Takumi quickly replied:
Takumi:
["On it!"]
He stopped browsing the chat and opened a portal.
He was currently in his mountain-top villa.
Below lay the city he had built.
He had designed it like this on purpose.
With a flash, he appeared above the city.
Then, he snapped his fingers.
Instantly, the dark city lit up.
Robots across the area activated and began working.
Only then did Takumi open the spatial gates.
He issued commands to the interior robotsguide the people out.
The children inside the portal grew excited.
One by one, they stepped out, guided by robotic escorts.
Takumi watched them descend and began uploading the data he brought from the other world into the city's system.
The robots got to work issuing ID cards and assigning residences.
Chapter 33: If I Had That Many Star-Destroyers, Things Wouldve Gone Just as Smoothly
With countless robots assisting, Takumi had little trouble with arrangements.
The AI quickly sorted the uploaded list and began distributing housing. People were grouped in fours, mostly based on familial or social ties. Families were assigned to the same unit.
The robots, following the AI's instructions, escorted them to their new homes. Each assigned home came fully stockedwith daily necessities and children's clothing. Everything had been prepared for them by Takumi.
It was a true move-in-ready situation.
Even with over a million people, the robot support ensured rapid and efficient allocation. For longer distances, robots simply flew the people there.
Many children, upon seeing their new surroundings, had stars in their eyes. It was a bright, hopeful new world.
