That abrupt remark only left Rizu Ogata feeling more puzzled.
"Furuhashi, why did you say it's wrong for me to want to know more about Rei Ao? Could it be you've discovered something?"
As she spoke, she pushed up her glasses, which caught the light.

Fumino was momentarily speechless. She couldn't possibly say out loud what she had been imagining. Standing there to stop them had already maxed out her embarrassment. Finally, cheeks burning red, she left them with what sounded like a warning:
"Anyway, II'll be watching you! Don't try anything funny!"
With that, she ran off.
Left behind in a daze, Rizu Ogata asked Rei Ao, "Does Furuhashi know your secret or something? Is that why she doesn't want me to find out?"
Rei Ao looked puzzled. "Why would you think that?"
"Well, maybe there's that special feeling of 'I'm the only one who knows.' I've felt that way before."
Rizu Ogata confessed her own little secret without holding back, recalling an earlier moment in her life.
"Haha, you're overthinking it. Furuhashi doesn't know anythingshe probably just misunderstood."
Rei Ao had a good idea of what might have happened with her eavesdropping.
"Anyway, back on topic," he continued, turning the conversation back to Rizu Ogata.
"You said you want to understand me better. But that might mean leaving your normal life behind. Are you sure you want to do that?"
"I'm sure."
Rizu Ogata's firm response left her lips.
"I've spent a lot of time thinking it over since last night. I can't help my curiosity about this amazing other world, so"
She paused briefly, then clasped Rei Ao's right hand in both of hers, her eyes shining as she said, "Please tell me, Rei Ao!"
"Well, since you're going that far, I'll grant your wish."
[Ding! You have chosen to grant Rizu Ogata membership in the sub-group of the chat group!]
"!!!"
As knowledge surged into her mind, Rizu Ogata's face changed.
"A chat group multiple worlds so that's how it is!"
She never imagined there were more worlds than just one. And Rei Ao's identity was connected to so many of them. No wonder even the Quetzalcoatl God from another world treated him with such respect.
"Rei Ao, you're amazing!"
Rizu Ogata's eyes sparkled with admiration.
"I'm glad you think so right now," Rei Ao replied. "But I hope that once you get to know me better, you won't end up calling me a pervert like some of the other people in the chat group."
He patted the shoulder of the currently nave Rizu Ogata in a meaningful way and went on, "If you have any other questions, you can look through the chat history. I won't explain them one by one."
"Let's head back to class."
"Okay"
Even though she didn't understand why Rei Ao teased himself as a "pervert," she obediently followed him off the rooftop.
At noon, Rei Ao originally planned to go have lunch with Mai and the others, but as soon as he left the classroom, he was stopped by two people: Satania and Vignette.
"Sensei, we've come to learn again!"
Even though he'd heard Satania's reasoning, Rei Ao still felt it was a little odd for a while. But Satania, being who she was, had completely forgotten about it after a short time. As for Vignette, she was so embarrassed she couldn't bring herself to look Rei Ao in the eye.

Even Satania felt shy about it.
But Rei Ao, resting his chin on his hand, spoke in a deliberately serious tone. "Still, as your sensei, I have a responsibility. Doing it at school isn't out of the question. Follow me."

Vignette scanned their surroundings nervously, not understanding why Rei Ao had brought them to such a place.

Vignette looked on as the two sat down on a bench, hand in hand.
"Satania, you've observed enough times. It's about time for some practical lesson,"
Rei Ao said solemnly.
"Practical lesson?"
Satania seemed to recall something and immediately looked flustered.
"Eh? Th-That kind of thing is it really okay?"
"Absolutely not!"
Vignette blurted out.
"Th-That sort of thing can't just be practiced randomly! You have to like the person for it!"
Even though she was a demon, Vignette had lived in the human world long enough to understand these matters.
Satania also turned red and muttered in a small voice, "Vignette's right."
But Rei Ao simply gazed into Satania's eyes and asked seriously, "So, Satania, do you dislike me?"
"Of course I don't dislike you, Sensei!"
Satania shook her head emphatically, as if it were a rattling drum. Then she earnestly counted off her reasons:
"When we first met, you chased off that evil beast for me and even bought me a pineapple bun."
(She meant the dog that tried to snatch her pineapple bun.)
"After that, you helped me grow stronger, granted me Satan's power, and even taught me how to become a great demon."
Satania wiped at the corners of her eyes, as if she'd moved herself to tears just thinking about it.
"Sensei is the best person in the human world!"
Vignette was astonished. She never expected Rei Ao had done so much for Satania.

Rei Ao, for his part, suddenly wondered if Satania was seeing him through rose-tinted glasses. Originally, he'd planned to do a little gentle trickery, but now he'd lost the heart for that. Instead, curiosity prompted him to ask, "Then, Satania, do you think you might fall in love with me?"
"Eh?!"
Such a direct question caused Satania's mind to go blank.
"Lilike Sensei Ugh!"
She lowered her head in embarrassment.

Under Vignette's uneasy gaze, Rei Ao slowly brought his face toward Satania. For an instant, Vignette wanted to stop him, but seeing that Satania wasn't calling it off, she felt awkward about intervening.
As for Satania herself, her mind went completely blank for a moment as she watched Rei Ao's face draw closerthe Sensei she admired, whom she didn't dislike at all. Her cheeks blazed bright red like apples, yet she neither moved nor told him to stop. She only shut her eyes in nervous anticipation.
Seeing this, a faint smile appeared at the corner of Rei Ao's mouth. Without further hesitation, he kissed her.

Vignette's eyes went round with shock. Right now, she felt just likea third wheel.
"Mm!"
Before long, Vignette heard Satania's muffled whimpers. Watching it all from close by made her mouth feel dry and her whole body heat up.
Though Satania was clumsy, she was also surprisingly bold. After a moment, her face was beet red, her lips trembling, her eyes dewy.
Rei Ao gently stroked her head. "Satania, how did that feel?"
Satania avoided his gaze, speaking in a tiny voice, "It felt nice. And Sensei, I feel even stronger now!"
Her shy words were also brimming with excitement.
