Their memories were still stuck at the moment of their death. Now, seeing this grown version of Origami left them unable to react.
"Alright. Next, you'll be coming with me. Bring anything important. Then we'll leave this place."
Takumi turned his gaze to Origami.
Hearing this, Origami nodded and quickly began packing.
Her parents, however, were completely bewildered. What was going on?
Why did everything feel like they were on the run?
"Dad, Mom. I'll pack up first. I'll explain everything in a bit."
Saying that, she began to pack quickly, sending a short message to her captain.
She gathered the most important items and then looked toward Takumi.
He had brought her parents back to life. She owed him a massive debt.
She would repay it someday.
Although she had agreed to leave this world with Takumi, it didn't matter anymore. As long as her parents were alive, she would go anywhere.
Seeing she was done packing, Takumi opened a virtual space and motioned for her to enter.
Takumi placed each of the spirits in separate areas, mainly to prevent fights.
Origami was no exception.
For now, he placed her and her parents in an area without other spirits. Given her deep hatred toward spirits, she'd likely attack them without hesitation.
After storing Origami's family, Takumi returned.
Once he completely left the world, Mio Takamiya slowly regained consciousness.
Her first move after waking up was to check on Shido Itsuka.
Seeing that he was fine, she finally sighed in relief. But soon her expression darkened.
Because all the spirits had been taken away by Takumiincluding the Spirit Crystal from Kotori's body.
Realizing this, Mio's face became extremely grim.
"Damn it!!"
She was furious!!
What the hell had just happened?
Why did things turn out like this?
She immediately began preparing to travel back in time to investigate.
But as she attempted to shift through time, she froze.
Time had been cut off.
She could no longer travel to the past.
Realizing this, Mio was stunned.
Who did this?
How could someone block her ability?
Was there something in this world that even she didn't know?
...
After returning to his own world, Takumi released Kurumi Tokisaki and Sawa Yamata.
One by one, he began releasing the spirits. As they emerged, they all looked at Takumi warily.
Especially Miku Izayoi.
Already lacking a sense of security, she immediately took a few steps back upon seeing Takumi.
A microphone materialized in her hand, ready to attack at any moment.
Origami was also released.
When she saw the spirits, her expression turned grim. Her first reaction was to shield her parents behind her.
"Alright. Everyone calm down."
"Welcome to my world."
"Shuvi!"
Takumi called out to the void. In the next moment, it opened.
Shuvi emerged from it.
"I'm here."
Seeing Shuvi, the spirits became even more alert.
"Introduce our world to them. Then, distribute the terminals."
"Later, assign them homes so they can live well here."
"If they start fighting, I give you permission to beat them up."
Takumi patted Shuvi's head, giving her instructions.
Shuvi nodded seriously.
"Understood."
She then stepped forward and observed the spirits with a calm gaze.
Takumi turned his attention to Kurumi, Yoshino, and Mukuro Hoshimiya.
Compared to the others, these three were more troublesome.
So, Takumi decided to directly inject a stream of memories into their minds.
He let them understand what this world was.
A cluster of memories was suddenly inserted into their brains, leaving them momentarily dazed.
After doing all this, Takumi looked at Kurumi and Sawa Yamata.
He began helping Sawa recover.
In no time, she began to change.
Previously, the White Queen resembled Kurumi.
Now, she had returned to her original form.
After finishing everything, Takumi said to Kurumi:
"Let's go. You'll all stay at my house for tonight."
"Tomorrow, I'll arrange permanent housing."
He began walking home.
Seeing this, Kurumi quickly followed, pulling Sawa along with her.
Shima Mio was already waiting.
Seeing Takumi return, she smiled cheerfully.
"Dinner's ready! I've already prepared everything."
She knew Takumi was bringing back a large group.
So she had made preparations well in advance.
Chapter 388: Does This Mean We Can Create Artificial Star Spirits?
Kurumi looked at Miori Shiba with a curious expression and asked, "Are you in the group?"
Who was this?
She hadn't seen everyone's face yet, so she had no idea which member Miori Shiba was.
"Miori Shiba! Pleased to meet you."
Miori Shiba smiled cheerfully and greeted Kurumi.
Hearing that, Kurumi immediately understood. "Nice to meet you!"
"Hello, I'm Yamada Sawa. Pleased to meet you too!"
Both Kurumi and Yamada Sawa quickly returned the greeting.
Hearing them, Miori Shiba warmly invited them to sit down and eat first.
Takumi had been running around for most of the day, and his stomach was already growling. So he sat down and began enjoying dinner.
Not long after, the other Spirits also entered.
They had just finished listening to Shubi's explanation and had learned about the situation in this world. Everyone had dinner at Takumi's place before heading to their designated residences.
As for Yoshino and Tohka, Takumi left them in the care of the Yamai sisters. Spirits should stay together with other Spirits.
They would be attending school in Takumi's world now. It was unlikely they'd be going back anytime soon.
Kurumi probably didn't want to return right away either. She'd likely wait until she grew much stronger before going back. By then, she'd bring a group of Spirits with her to beat that person up. She already had it all planned.
Even though they had temporarily left that world, it wouldn't be a quick return. Right now, they were no match.
Kurumi also learned about the group's enhancement function. If she could get one or two upgrades, her power might be enough to challenge Mori Takamiya.
So for now, sign in daily and study magic in Takumi's world. Then return to take revenge.
After dinner, Kurumi stayed in a room at Takumi's home. She had a lot to talk about with Yamada Sawa, so she didn't chat much with the others.
Takumi didn't mind. After washing up, he returned to his room and began uploading all the data he'd collected into his personal archive.
Miori Shiba, lying nearby, looked at him curiously and asked, "You brought back all those Spirits... What about the world over there? Won't that person go crazy?"
Takumi had basically robbed all the Spirit Crystals. Wouldn't Miori Takamiya lose it?
After so many years, she'd finally found suitable candidates to become Spiritsand now even Origami had been taken!
"What's it matter?" Takumi said nonchalantly. "She probably won't. She'll just be confused and start becoming paranoid."
Miori Shiba would likely start suspecting that there were still other unknown Spirits in the world and get stuck in a cycle of doubt.
So, no big deal. If Kurumi wanted to go back someday, that's probably when she'd find out the truth.
"Emm That's kind of tragic. Are you just going to let those Spirits stay in our world like this?" Miori Shiba wasn't sure how to react.
Takumi always seemed to bring back weird souvenirs from other worlds. And now, just because Kurumi joined the group chat, he'd gone and abducted all those Spirits. Ridiculous.
"Don't worry about her. If necessary, I'll just pop over and give her a brainwash. Wipe her memory clean and return her to her original, pure state. No problem."
Takumi didn't feel like dwelling on it. After uploading everything, he sent Mobius a message explaining the situation in the Date A Live world, including information about the wizards.
Ellen was still in Takumi's custody. She had already resigned herself to her fate. After arriving in Takumi's world, she realized everyone around her was terrifying. She couldn't even do anything, let alone escape. She'd have to stay here from now on.
Mobius, of course, wasn't sleeping. Time meant nothing to her. All-nighters were normal. When she got Takumi's message, she was a bit surprised. After reading everything, she immediately started a video call.
"Spirits born from the spirit veins? Can we bring that mage over to replicate it in our world? Could we create a Spirit of our own?"
Mobius's mind buzzed with ideas. If it was possible to condense spirit veins and create a Spirit, didn't that mean they could make one themselves?
Takumi stared at her, full of question marks. "Seriously? You're already thinking about that? You want to create our own Spirit now?"
He didn't know what to say. Making your own Spirit... was that really necessary?
"Of course! If it's about gathering spirit veins, theoretically, anywhere with spirit veins could be used to create one."
"If this works, could we even create a Spirit on another planet that has life? Even if not on Earth, we could experiment on one of those planets that were recently taken down. Kosmo did conquer those civilizations, right? Instead of wasting the planets, why not use them to make Spirits?"
"And if we could create a Spirit born from a planet, and send them to the Little Garden, would they gain a Star Spirit's divine authority or something?"
Mobius's imagination ran wild.
Takumi rolled his eyes. "You wish. Just focus on researching wizard bloodlines for now. You can experiment later."
Good grief, this wasn't about making Spiritsit was about making Star Spirits. But she wasn't entirely wrong. Maybe she was trying to tap into the potential of Star Spirits?
"Oh right, where's Algol?" Takumi suddenly realized someone was missing.
"She's with Mobius," Miori Shiba said, immediately throwing her under the bus. Algol wasn't homeshe was with Mobius.
Takumi was speechless but now understood why Mobius had such wild ideas.
Mobius, hearing his question, said, "I'll let her come back in a few days. For now, just leave it to me. I'll give it a try."
Then she hung up the call.
Takumi sighed and said to Prometheus, "Save the part Mobius just said."
Upon his command, Prometheus instantly extracted the video segment. Then, Takumi posted it in the group chat and tagged shiroyasha.
Chapter 389: Sounds Logical, But No
Takumi: [@Shiroyasha] [video.avi]
Shiroyasha: [????] [You can create Star Spirits like this?]
After watching the video Takumi sent, Shiroyasha was stunned.
Good grief, is this even possible? That woman's imagination was truly wild. Honestly, it all sounded quite reasonable. But would the Little Garden actually recognize it? And are you sure it can really be replicated?
Shiroyasha: [Is it really replicable?] [Can gathering all the spirit veins on a planet truly create a Spirit?]
That was a major question.
Takumi: [Nope. These Spirits are unique to their world.] [If you want to make one, you'd probably have to return to the Little Garden.] [Even then, whether it would be recognized is a different issue.]
Of course Takumi knewit wasn't that simple. At best, it was just a theory. At the time, he merely found Mobius's imagination intriguing, so he didn't say much.
Shiroyasha read through the messages and nodded.
After thinking for a moment, she continued in the group chat: [The Little Garden might acknowledge it.] [But it'd probably only grant a small divine authority.] [If it's from a named planet, then that's probably it.] [If it's an unnamed planet in deep space, it would likely just be categorized under alien beings.] [@033 or @Tokisaki Kurumi, Little Kurumi, want to drop by the Little Garden?] [Let's see if you can obtain divine authority. I think you might be able to earn a portion.]
Shiroyasha didn't think it was very feasible. Still, Kurumi could always make a visit.
Takumi: [Let's wait until she has enough points.]
Before Kurumi could respond, Takumi had already denied the idea. Kurumi didn't have the points to go to the Little Garden yet. Sneaking in wouldn't work either. If you try to enter without proper access, you won't get anything. You'd need to buy a travel talisman.
Shiroyasha: [Alright, we'll wait until she has enough points.] [@Tokisaki Kurumi, what do you think, Little Kurumi?]
Shiroyasha agreed and asked for Kurumi's thoughts.
Tokisaki Kurumi: [I'll just watch for now. But it'll probably be a long time. I plan to use my points for enhancements first.]
Even if she had 1000 points, she wouldn't go yet. Strengthening herself was the priority.
Shiroyasha had no argument with that.
Shiroyasha: [No rush! There'll be plenty of chances later.]
After the chat, Takumi went to sleep. When morning came, he began arranging homes for Kurumi and Yamada Sawa.
The two would be living in Takumi's world for the time being. Naturally, he placed their homes near where the other Spirits were staying.
When Takumi visited the Spirits again, many still looked at him cautiously. After all, he had essentially abducted them. Only Tohka was openly curious.
When she saw Takumi, she ran up to him. "Takumi! Takumi! I heard there's a lot of yummy food hereis it true?"
Of course. All she ever thought about was food.
As she spoke, she began to drool. Takumi was surprised. What had she seen?
Takumi silently inquired with Prometheus about what happened between Tohka and her the night before. At first wary, she quickly bombarded Prometheus with questions. Eventually, the topic turned entirely to food.
Prometheus had even introduced Tohka to the delicacies available in the gourmet district. Seeing those dishes, Tohka hadn't slept all night. She wanted to rush over immediately.
Takumi's lips twitched after reading the log. "Yes, there's tons of delicious food. If you want to eat, have Kurumi take you. From now on, if you have questions, just go to her."
Takumi pushed Kurumi forward.
Kurumi pointed to herself. Her?
"You're in charge of these Spirits now. After all, you've got the most life experience, right? You're their big sister now."
"Oh right, where's Nia?"
Leaving Tohka, Yoshino, and Natsumi to fend for themselves was a bit much. Kurumi would have to take care of them. And also that one older lady.
"Nia Auntie? She's watching some anime," Tohka replied, blinking.
Apparently, she was still glued to that anime when Tohka left. Said something about catching up on everything she'd missed.
Takumi had nothing to say. Classic shut-in behavior. Internally, he sighed.
