The scene descended into utter chaos
Because she was so flustered, Lilith's magic started running wild. She ended up being wrestled to the ground and dragged off by Akio Fud and the others.
In the aftermath, Erica finally found an opening to speak:
"Rei Ao, group leaderso this really is another world?"
Her demeanor was almost reverent, like she was talking to some VIPwhich, in her mind, she was. She already considered Rei Ao to be on par with a god-slaying Demon King.
Rei Ao simply replied:
"I think you all already have your own opinions. I've said what I can; it's up to you to decide."
He didn't feel any need to explain further. Believe it or don'tit made no difference to him.
"I do believe this is another world," Fubuki said, eyes still shining with curiosity. "But I'm dying to knowhow did that young lady just now manage to stop time like that?"
She was watching Lieselotte, who was leaning snugly against Rei Ao in her newly minted "Demon Queen" form. Lieselotte gave Fubuki a dismissive glance and answered curtly:
"It's a magical Secret Art."
Lieselotte wasn't interested in any woman aside from herselfor rather, she wasn't interested in anyone except her Demon King.
Even if someone dangled the Eternal Library in front of her right now, she wouldn't bother looking. What's that compared to my Demon King? Having him was enough.
All she wanted was a sweet romance with Rei Ao (and she wouldn't mind it being a bit more, well, intense).
"Magiccan you teach me?"
Fubuki asked sincerely. She was determined to learn such powerful magic. Rei Ao, for his part, was still a bit surprised at how he'd basically "won over" one of the Trinity Seven with just a couple of kissesand was now questioning if maybe he had succubus blood in him.
"Hmph, you have no talent for magic whatsoever," Lieselotte replied bluntly, giving Fubuki zero courtesy.
"Ugh"
Fubuki looked deflated.
"My dear Demon King," Lieselotte continued with a sweet, sultry look, "why bring someone with no talent for magic along?"
"We all came here from another world," Rei Ao explained.
"Anotherworld?"
[Ding! You have selected to grant Lieselotte access to the chat group sub-channel!]
"!!!"
Lieselotte fell silent, staring at the stream of information in her mind and the glowing screen before her, evidently absorbing all the details.
Her expression shifted, eyes flickering with thought as she dug into the chat group's functions.
Meanwhile, Rei Ao turned to Fubuki, whose face was dark with frustration.
"You only want to learn magic so you can get stronger and surpass your sister, right?"
"How did you know?"
Fubuki's eyes narrowed with caution; that was her private ambition. Erica blinked in surprise.
"Aren't you from different worlds?"
"Seeing as I'm the admin of a multi-world chat group, doesn't it make sense that I might know some things about the other members and their stories?"
"???"
They weren't entirely convinced, but they couldn't really argue.
Fubuki's face looked even more grim.
"Fine, so I do want to outdo my sister. Is there really no way for me to learn magic?"
She clenched her fists, frustration written all over her features. Her sister had always insisted she had no talent. Now, an otherworldly mage was saying the same thing. It felt like a crushing blow.
"Getting stronger doesn't have to mean learning magic."
Rei Ao gave a slight smirk.
"Your power is psychokinesis. Its true strength comes from your mind."
He rubbed his fingertips together, producing a glowing white orb.
"?"
Fubuki stared at the little sphere. The moment she laid eyes on it, she couldn't look away. Her brain and every cell in her body were screaming, "Take it! Devour it!" She physically longed for whatever was in Rei Ao's hand.
"Gulp Wh-what is that?"
She swallowed hard, eyes locked on him.
Kanna's eyes lit up.
"Kanna!"
At Michiru's shout, Kanna leapt off her lap and onto Rei Ao, opening her mouth wide.
"Wait!!!"
Fubuki cried out in alarm. Kanna was about to swallow the thing that every cell in Fubuki's body was craving. But there was no stopping her. Kanna gulped it down easily.
"Mm!"
She shivered slightly.
"It feelscool."
"Well, it's designed to enhance one's mental power," Rei Ao said calmly, patting Kanna's head.
"?"
Fubuki's mind went blank.
"Putting aside whether it's okay to feed something like that to a kid," she muttered, "how come there's no change in her at all?"
"Because Kanna is a dragon. That little boost in mental power is nothing to her."
"A d-drag?!"
Not just Fubuki, but Erica, too, looked baffled. They both stared at Kanna.
"This adorable child is the dragon from myth and legend?"
They could hardly believe it.
"See these?"
Rei Ao pointed to Kanna's little horns.
"Dragon horns. And here"
He lifted Kanna's small tail.
"Dragon tail."
"Uuuu~ That tickles," Kanna murmured, lazily slumping against him, looking comfortable and cozy.
"She really doesn't look like a dragon," Erica thought to herself.
Fubuki forced herself to believe it.
"So that thing just got eaten"
She looked like she regretted not having reacted faster. But Rei Ao merely smiled faintly.
"No worries. I can make as many of those as I want."
He pointed a finger, and one white orb after another appeared in midair in front of Fubukieach containing the same power to enhance mental strength.
"!!!"
Fubuki trembled with excitement from head to toe.

Rei Ao let Fubuki rush off just like that. Watching her fly into the sky until she disappeared, Erica couldn't help asking:
"You're really letting her run off like that?"

Erica was deeply shaken. Even a god-slayer Demon King from her own experience couldn't just hand out instant power like that to someone else.

Michiru nodded. "I'll adjust to it."

"Marriage is a ceremony where two people who like each other become husband and wife."
"Does that mean becoming a mommy and a daddy?"
"Pretty much."
Kanna's eyes sparkled.
"Then can Kanna become a mommy, too?"
"Who do you want to marry?"
"Rei Ao-nii!" she answered without hesitation.

All four of them looked at Rei Ao rather strangely. Luckily, he was thick-skinned enough that it didn't bother him.
"Let's discuss that some other time."
"Rei Ao-kun, what are you even talking about?" Michiru asked in surprise.
"Kanna's over ten thousand years oldshe's a dragon, not a human," he said, perfectly serious.
"I-I well"
Michiru couldn't think of a single rebuttal.
"Wow, is she really over ten thousand years old?" Lieselotte asked, eyeing Kanna curiously. Guess you really can't judge by appearances.
Still, she wasn't overly interested in Kanna. She looked up at Rei Ao and pouted cutely:
"Then how about another trade request?"

"A date, huh? That's an easy one."
Rei Ao accepted her request. Immediately:

Lieselotte chuckled, batting her eyelashes.
"Pfft. Hey, that guy you're pointing at can blow up the world in one breath if he wants. He's the Demon King. You sure you want to take that tone?"

Mira's face turned an unpleasant shade of greenish-blue. Akio Fud patted her shoulder, indicating she shouldn't act rashly. First, they had to figure out what this Demon King's intentions really were.
"Sis"
Selina, standing off to the side, had no idea how to persuade her sister to come back.
"Selina, get over here," Lieselotte called. "Come be a Demon Queen with me under the Demon King~"
"Selina, snap out of it!" Mira Yamana warned, bracing herself.
Amid all the tension, Selina fidgeted nervously before bowing deeply to the four of them.
"I'm sorry!"
Then, apologizing loudly, she ran straight for her sister.
"Husband, I just reeled in a new Demon Queen for you. Don't you think I deserve a little reward?"
Lieselotte stroked Selina's cheek as if to take credit. Rei Ao, who had just come up for air after kissing Kasuga Hijiri, sweatdropped.
"You talk like they're our enemies."
"Aren't they?"
Lieselotte blinked innocently, batting her lashes. Rei Ao rolled his eyes, then addressed Mira Yamana and the others in a more formal tone.
He cleared his throat:
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Rei Aothe Demon King you've been talking about, and Hijiri's future husband. I mean no harm; I'm just here to get a whiff of Hijiri's nice scent."
He leaned over and took a deep breath of the soft spot at Kasuga Hijiri's neck.
"Mmm She has the sweetest little milky aroma."
Everyone else stood there, flabbergasted.

"We meet again, Your Majesty."
He greeted Rei Ao with utmost respect. Lilith Asami and the others were left dumbfounded. Not only did their headmaster already know the Demon King, but he was being incredibly deferential?
Everyone exchanged glances, trying to figure out what was going on. Rei Ao just smiled casually.
"Heh, I heard from Hijiri that she's been living quite happily here. Seems like I was right to send her."
"Yes, of course. Rest assured, no one here will be able to threaten Kasuga Hijiri."
The headmaster spoke confidently.
"Oh really?" Rei Ao raised an eyebrow. "That's a nice guarantee, but"
He turned to Lieselotte.
"What about her? Didn't she set her sights on Hijiri's mana?"
Lieselotte smirked, not denying it at all.
"That's right. I wanted to siphon the Demon King candidate's mana so I could reconnect to the Eternal Library and obtain even greater power."
"This"
Cold sweat beaded at the headmaster's temple. He'd just promised that Kasuga Hijiri was safe, and now thistalk about a slap in the face. It couldn't get any worse.
"Forget it," Rei Ao said with a wave of his hand. "If Hijiri runs into trouble, I'll just come here right away anyway. That's no big deal. But about Lieselotte and Selinathese two sisters will both be my Demon Queens from now on. You don't have a problem with that, do you?"

Feeling an immense, invisible pressure bearing down on him, the headmaster hastily complied.
