Indeed, this phenomenon was simply the anomaly produced by Rei Ao's activation of Divine Soul. Subjectively, he felt no special sensationonly an incomparably pure surge of spiritual energy rushing into his soul.
Before long, the anomaly disappeared. Rei Ao opened his eyes and found himself the focus of dozens of beautiful women, all scantily clad in white, looking worried or solemn.
Though they'd been brought to the God Realm as part of the Only God's harem quite abruptly, they had indeed become true gods, something countless people had only dreamed of. And they had each fully given themselves to Rei Ao, so many times they'd lost count by now.
For most of them, coming from Douluo's mortal world, they'd had rather traditional mindsets. Naturally, Rei Ao was now their one and only.
Besides, having gone through their first time with someone of his inhuman stamina, they were completely molded to him. Hence, it was perfectly normal that they'd fret about his well-being.
Rei Ao was pleasedhe rather enjoyed their concern. He spoke up,
"All right, no need to stare at me like that. My body's not in any trouble."
Hearing his reassurance, they relaxed.
"Rei Ao-nii, what was that just now? I sensed a force even stronger than god power," Zhu Zhuqing asked curiously, still shaken by the spectacle.
"I powered up again, in a sense," Rei Ao replied. "I triggered an ability, and that caused the phenomenon you saw."
"What you got even stronger?" Ning Rongrong exclaimed. She'd already come to understand that, as the Only God, Rei Ao was the pinnacle of power. She couldn't imagine what "stronger" would even look like.
"Haha. My strength didn't go up much in absolute terms, but I did gain an interesting new power."
He couldn't help smiling at his accomplishment. The conceptualization of "Demon King" was complete, producing something called the "True Demon Aspect."
[True Demon Aspect]: You gain the "true demon" rank, becoming the Demon of demons in a conceptual sense! In any world that contains "demonic" power or a "demon" role, you shall possess the True Demon Aspect, ascending to the apex of that rank.
In the past, the Demon King rank only applied to a special "demon king" role in worlds that recognized it. If a world had no concept of a demon king, then the power simply meant he had a "demon king's" strength at his own level.
Now, that power had changed. Possessing the True Demon Aspect allowed him to become the summit of everything "demonic." And "demon" here didn't just mean "Demon King" or "Devil," but could extend to any concept of "ma" ("magic," "magus," "demon," "devil," etc.). Whether it was demon lords, devils, magicians, demon godsanything tied to that "ma" concept could be encompassed.
So, if he entered any world containing a "demon" concept, he could use True Demon Aspect to become the absolute apex of all demon-related ranks.
Put simply, the "ma" part of the word had a broad but also quite straightforward meaning. He was beyond excited by how powerful it seemed.
His first thought was "magicians." Or more precisely, the Magic Gods in Mikoto Misaka's world.
That world had "magic," and the so-called Magic Gods were effectively "gods of magic," quite in line with the "demon" concept. He was curious to see if he could manifest his True Demon Aspect there.
Of course, to go to Mikoto's world, he'd need a chat group trade. He couldn't go on a whim. It was just an idea for now, and there were more urgent matters at hand.
Thinking about it got him worked up, which showed in the most direct way possible. Even moreimpressivethan usual, you might say.
Seeing that, Qian Renxue and the others instinctively tried to back awaybut it was already too late.
"Trying to run? That's not happening. We still have time. Let's keep going!"
His magic flared into invisible arms, dragging them all back. The first to be grabbed by her bunny ears was Xiao Wu, tears brimming in her eyes.
"Uuuuu, wh-when will these torturous days ever end~?"

Chapter 524: Mafuyu's Dilemma, and Serie! (Bonus Chapter)
Late at night.
A series of strange search entries filled the computer's search bar:
[Good student turns into the ultimate scumbag, with multiple girlfriends at once should I stop him?]
[As a teacher, having overly intimate contact with a student a self-control issue?]
[Is thinking my own student is handsome just a delusion?]
Sitting before the computer, Mafuyu Kirisu stared at these lines of text. Her eyes were reading, but her mind was in chaos. She couldn't absorb a single word!
"Ugh"
A long sigh, filled with regret and indecision.
After facing her questions earlier, Rei Ao and Yukino and the others had answered every single point so clearly, echoing in her mind. She knew all of that was out of line with public morality, that it shouldn't be allowed to go on.
But Mafuyu Kirisu couldn't find any rebuttal. Especially upon seeing the past searches in her own browsing history, she felt deeply ashamed.
She couldn't even manage herself how could she possibly manage others?
Never forget that her right hand had oncehelped Rei Ao. And she'd even allowedher own cheek to receive
Just recalling that moment made her so embarrassed that she couldn't face herself.
"Probably from that moment on, I no longer had the standing to intervene as a teacher"
Her dignity before Rei Ao had already been shattered to pieces.
"Ugh"
She sighed again. In the end, Mafuyu Kirisu cast a final glance at the computer, cleared her browsing history, and shut it down.
"No more!"
She made a decision: she would no longer meddle in Rei Ao's love affairs or those of the others.
"I'll just turn a blind eye pretend I didn't see anything. That shouldn't be a problem, right?"
Though it went against her code of conduct, it was the best idea she had to avoid awkwardness for both sides.
After washing up, Mafuyu Kirisu climbed into bed, planning to scroll on her phone a bit before sleeping, to relax. But she unexpectedly came across her chat logs with Rei Ao. Then she remembered she and Rei Ao were still technically in a "fake online relationship"!
""
As that thought hit her, Mafuyu's expression once more showed tangled hesitation.
In Frieren's world
After a long journey, Frieren arrived at the elven settlement, where she met that person she mutually despiseda blonde elf in plain attire, sporting a lazy, indifferent expression much like her own: Serie.
"Is your 'hunt the demons' game finally over?"
"What's nextare you planning to hone your magic even further, or do you want me to teach you something?"
Reclining on a high seat, Serie propped her chin on one hand, mocking Frieren the moment they met by calling her demon-hunting actions nothing but a game.
But she did have the clout to say that. Serie was stronger than Frieren had once been: the founder of the continent's Magic Association at the pinnacle of humanity's mages, someone who was already a distant legend from the mythic era, whose terror the demon race had long since forgottena lost-magic user.
She was also Flamme's teacher, making her Frieren's grand-teacher.
If Frieren, before joining the chat group, was a powerful mage, then Serie was a living grimoire that collected nearly all magic in human historyon this continent, she was the magic-user closest to an all-knowing, all-powerful "goddess."
Even with her external magic suppressed, she still rivaled what Frieren had once displayed at full power. Because her magic was perpetually under self-restraint, it kept flickering.
And that wasn't all. Over half a century ago, Serie had suddenly appeared in recorded history, founding the Continent's Magic Association, and had spent her time ever since continuously refining magic in a protracted era of battles against the Demon King's army.
Thus, she'd promised to grant special privileges to anyone who reached first-rank mage statusshe would teach them one piece of magic they most desired. For a mage, it was like granting a wish. Because of that, every first-rank mage thus far was practically inhumanly monstrous.
But Frieren was exceptionally calm now. She was no longer attracted to such things, nor did Serie's teasing provoke her.
Lifting her head, she said:
"Yes."
"The game is over."
"The Demon King is dead."
"And the demon race has been utterly wiped out from this world."
Her words sounded like sheer fantasy, yet they came from Frieren's mouth.
"Huh?"
Serie's languid, tranquil gaze for the first time showed intense upheaval.
""
She briefly considered whether Frieren was joking, but dispelled the thought at once. In those eyes, she saw no hint of humor.
Her gaze shifted to the unfamiliar pink-haired woman at Frieren's side. At a glance, she noticed something off.
"An illusion disguise spellanda demon?"
She wasn't angry at seeing a demon. She'd never been driven to rage by the Demon King, let alone a single demon. Serie narrowed her eyes.
"Frieren, you loathe demons, yet you're traveling with one, apparently a member of the Demon King's Seven Sages of Destruction? Quite unexpected."
"But I'm even more curious about the contradiction: you said the demons are extinct, but here stands a demon."
"How do you explain that?"
"There's nothing special about it." Frieren shook her head.
"Aura is the last demon in the world. But she's no longer affiliated with the demon race; she belongs to someone else."
"Oh?"
Serie's expression grew intrigued again.
Spreading her hands, she said,
"All right, I'll believe that the Demon King is dead and the demon race is wiped out. Then can you tell me who killed the Demon King and destroyed the demon race?"
"Waitlet me guess. Was it a hero? Or did the goddess descend?"
"Neither."
Frieren shook her head at both guesses.
Serie fixed her stare on Frieren, her expression turning grave. Then she noticed something:
"Your magic power has grown againyou're stronger than before."
She knew that Frieren, like herself, always kept her magic forcibly suppressed. At her fullest release, Frieren had been on par with Serie's suppressed amount.
But now, she could feel that Frieren's magic aura had surpassed her former limit, meaning Frieren had grown stronger still. Serie, however, doubted that alone would be enough to annihilate the entire demon race.

Chapter 525: Start Claiming Worlds!
"Ah, you're rightI have gotten stronger."
Frieren nodded.
Then she lifted the suppression on her own magic. An invisible wave of magic began to swell, prompting the elves behind her to automatically move back several steps.
Serie was indeed startled.
Waitso Frieren was also suppressing her magic?
"!!!"
As her magical aura rapidly grew, Serie's expression morphed from surprise to shock. Frieren's magic had already exceeded her limits of perception!
Naturally. Frieren hadn't remained stagnant. Not long ago, during her trip to Aihara Enju's world, she had gone all-out to level up swiftly.
[Name]: Frieren
[Level]: 45
[Abilities]: "Nature Spirit", "Elven Magic", "Rei Ao's Blessing", "Inherent Device" Nature Mage"
[Possessions]: "Staff"
A perfect example of "the strong get stronger."
Now Frieren had already surpassed her grand-teacher, Serie.
""
Serie stared blankly at Frieren. After a long moment, she said in a complicated tone,
"Frieren, you've truly shocked me. It seems you really did personally wipe out the Demon King and demon race."
She hadn't thought Frieren had that kind of strength, but now Frieren's power was beyond even her ability to discern. Yet Frieren shook her head.
"I wasn't the one who defeated the Demon King, nor did I wipe out the demon race."
"?"
Serie looked puzzled. Could there be an even stronger individual? However, Frieren's next words were startling:
"The one who accomplished it was a human."
"A human?"
Serie frowned, pondering any human mage she knew, but Frieren cut her off.
"His name is Rei Ao. He's my man."
Frieren glanced behind her.
"Aura, I guess it's okay if I put it that way?"
Aura: "No, I feel 'Master' would be more accurate."
"That's your way of addressing him, not mine." Frieren shot back.
Serie finally understood. So a man named "Rei Ao," who was even stronger than Frieren was now, had destroyed the demon race.
And that man not only turned the last member of the Seven Sages of Destruction into his personal possession, but he was also "the man" of Frieren, an immortal elf!
Inconceivable. Serie felt this was like some wild fantasy, but she knew Frieren wasn't lying. She was just intensely curious:
"Hey, Frieren. May I meet himyour man?"
Akame: "So your grand-teacher wants to meet Rei Ao?"
Frieren: "Yep, basically. Ugh, my master's master can be such a troublemaker."
She shared the recent events in the chat group.
Sui: "Then you should probably ask Rei Ao about his schedule. Not sure if he's got the time."
Saeko Busujima: "Right now, he probably doesn't. He's apparently in Bibi Dong's God Realm, creating a harem, so I'm guessing he's still busy 'imparting teachings.'"
Akame: "Seems that way."
Sui: "Sigh. Sometimes Rei Ao's overpowering might is both wonderful and vexing."
Fubuki: "Aren't you all going to sleep? It's the middle of the night, and you're chatting about these racy topics."
Akame: "I'm on patrol with Mine."
Sui: "I just got out of the bath."
Saeko Busujima: "I'm training."
Fubuki: ""
Frieren: "Looks like it's just us."
Rei Ao: "Mind adding me to the conversation?"
Sui: "Eh? Rei Ao-kun!"
Rei Ao: "What, is it so surprising?"
Sui: "No, but Saeko said"
Rei Ao: "Saeko's right. I just created a harem, but we've had enough fun for now. Bibi Dong and the others are all pretty exhausted."
Worn out indeed. After all, they might be gods, but they were still facing the One God as subordinate divinities, and even gods can't endure that forever.
Sui: "A-hem. Rei Ao-kun, maybe you should go easier on them!!"
Rei Ao: "Go easy on what? With such a beauty like Sui by my side, if I still restrained myself, wouldn't that make me worthless?"
Sui: "Ugh You always say odd, flattering things that make people happy yet feel embarrassedso annoying~"
