That would be a real disaster.
She held her head in concern.
But Takumi didn't reply further. After posting the photo, he just casually stepped out.
"Hello~!"
"Mr. Michael, Miss Gabriel."
"Nice to meet you~!"
As he appeared, the surrounding angels all readied their weapons.
Holy swords appeared in their hands.
Michael took a look at Takumi and blinked in surprise.
"You must be Mr. Takumi, correct?"
Apparently, Michael had already figured out who he was.
He made a hand gesture, signaling everyone to lower their weapons.
The angels obeyed at once.
In Heaven, the word of an archangel was absolute.
Though many of them were reincarnated humans, their loyalty was unwavering.
The disloyal ones had already fallen.
Hearing Michael call his name, Takumi raised an eyebrow.
"You already know me?"
"Looks like your three factions are on pretty good terms, huh?"
He was surprised. The relationship between angels and devils seemed much better than expected.
Then again, the current devils weren't the old guard.
Those guys were the ones constantly barking at angels.
The new generation sought peace and cooperation.
They even signed peace agreements.
As for the fallen angels, no need to mentionAzazel was a former archangel himself, only fallen because of ghs (lust).
Honestly, they were all wearing the same pants at this point.
"Well, we all belong to the same godly system. No need for constant battles," Michael replied with a chuckle.
"Sazeks already explained everything about you to us."
"We only just found out, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings."
Takumi nodded at that.
"Got it."
"If I'd known earlier, I would've just come openly."
He shrugged.
Michael gave a wry smile.
"I only received the message shortly before this."
"Then we immediately detected a presence in Heaven."
No use fussing over timing now.
"Mr. Takumi, please come with me."
"Let's continue our talk in the upper levels."
"I understand your purpose. I'll have them cooperate with you shortly."
Michael was well aware of Takumi's reason for visiting and was willing to give him the courtesy.
After all, someone who could replicate sacred gears was a tremendous asset.
He'd been shocked upon learning about this, and before he knew it, Takumi had already arrived.
Takumi nodded, accepting the offer without hesitation.
Together with Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, the three archangels, they headed to the highest level of Heaventhe place where they lived.
Chapter 74: Whether You Understand It or Not, Just Call It Good Tea
The uppermost level of Heaven was even more deserted than the ones below.
There were only a few simple buildings hereand nothing else.
But Takumi could clearly sense it.
Above this level, there was likely yet another layer.
That must be the domain where God once resided.
Now that God was dead, apart from the Heavenly System, that place was probably empty.
Takumi was led by Michael and the other angels into a spacious hall.
"This place is a bit plain. Please forgive us."
Michael invited Takumi to take a seat, then personally prepared tea for him.
He handled everything himself. This Archangel was surprisingly easy to get along with.
"Try our Heaven's tea. It's brewed with holy water."
Takumi's eyes lit up at those words.
"Thanks~!"
He gratefully took a cup and drank a sip without hesitation.
The taste... was quite good.
Better than those mass-produced Oriental tea leaves.
"Good tea~!"
Whether or not he understood tea didn't matterso long as he called it good.
Michael smiled gently, then began making small talk.
"Mr. Takumi, would you mind telling me about other worlds?"
"When my Lord was still alive, she warned us that our world might one day be invaded by others."
"Frankly, we're in a pretty precarious situation right now."
Michael sighed. God had long warned them to be wary of outside invaders.
But Takumi didn't seem like one of them. If he were a true invader, he wouldn't be this friendly.
"Your world is indeed in a dangerous spot."
"The evil gods from neighboring worlds are eyeing it greedily."
Takumi fully agreed. Danger loomed on all sides.
The Great Red being slain in one strike? Could you believe it?
Michael was shocked by this statement.
"Mr. Takumi, you know about our world too?"
It seemed Takumi had quite a grasp of the outside situation.
"Sort of. In the future, your world will definitely face invasions."
"Some of those gods have already arrived."
"Some of your own even dream of conquering their worlds."
"But unfortunately, the power gap is just too big."
Takumi couldn't help but chuckle, thinking of a certain devil who had grand ambitions.
And then got instantly crushed.
Michael's expression turned serious.
"Mr. Takumi, would you be willing to share more details?"
There was no choice but to take this seriously.
"Mm... Actually, I'm planning to go check that world out myself soon."
"I already know a fair bit. Let me tell you."
"The gods there are all mechanical life forms."
And now, their ships were already on the far side of the moon.
They also lurked deep beneath the oceans.
Takumi began explaining the EXE world and what he knew.
As he spoke, Michael's face grew graver by the second.
Evil gods from another world were already here? Hiding among them?
On the moon's far side? In the ocean depths?
Now the angels were starting to panic.
Not a single native god had detected anything.
"You don't need to panic."
"They still fear your world."
"Apparently, some high-ranking spirit gods once made contact with Earth, so they're cautious."
"It's not too serious yet."
"You just need to hold out for a while longer."
...
Still, now that they knew, who could really sleep peacefully?
The enemy was already among them.
Gradually, Michael calmed himself and turned to Takumi.
"Mr. Takumi, may I ask why you plan to visit their world?"
He was curiousthere had to be a reason.
"Mm, just to see if there's anything worth picking up."
"Since I've come to your world, I can't leave empty-handed, right?"
"I'm mostly interested in the Sacred Gears and your magical systems."
"Once I get those, I'll head to their world."
"And collect all their knowledge about creating life."
"Their civilization is rather fascinating."
Mechanical civilization advanced to this levelwasn't that something?
Takumi had once considered developing mechanical civilization himself.
But he had dismissed it instantly.
No fun.
Even if he could craft paper-waifu robots, it'd be boring.
Nothing beats real humans.
Especially girls from other worlds.
Wouldn't it be best to just bring back a few he liked?
Despite gaining overwhelming power, Takumi was still, at heart, just a normal guy.
He did what he wanted when he wanted.
...
Hearing that Takumi just wanted to loot the place, Michael was at a loss for words.
The angels exchanged bewildered glances.
Michael mulled it over and then continued.
"Aside from Sacred Gears, you also desire magical knowledge, correct?"
Takumi grinned.
"Correct~!"
He could more or less guess where this was going.
"We can help with that."
"If you don't mind, we have a vast collection in Heaven."
"My Lord gathered extensive divine and magical knowledge."
"If you're interested, it's all yours."
Michael looked seriously at Takumi.
Gabriel and the others immediately understood what Michael was implying.
"You want me to help resolve your world's crisis, don't you?"
Takumi sipped the holy water-infused tea and calmly stared at Michael.
Michael nodded.
"Yes."
"From the way you spoke earlier, it seems you don't consider them a threat."
He was confident about this.
Though he didn't know Takumi's full strength, judging by how casually he spoke about the EXE gods, it was clear he didn't fear them.
And he knew so much already.
So Michael wanted to ask for his help.
Takumi nodded.
"I really don't see them as a threat."
"After all, they're just mechanical life forms..."
Against the Herrscher of Corruption, they were doomed.
Were they even worth taking seriously?
Destroying them?
Takumi was planning to do that anyway.
He simply hadn't intended to get involved with Earth's matters initially.
But now that Michael had asked...
Well, that opened a lot of possibilities.
For Takumi, this was something easily handled with a wave of his hand.
Chapter 75: Your Lord's Will Still Resides in the Holy Spear
Michael's willingness to hand over some of the biblical god's relics made things even better for Takumi.
The biblical god of this world had been quite the inventor. A powerhouse.
All the Sacred Gears were created by them. There was an overwhelming amount of knowledge hidden within those relics.
Surely the chief deity of the Bible system would have nothing but treasures.
This trade was looking very promising.
Takumi agreed on the spot.
Seeing his agreement, Michael let out a breath of relief.
If Takumi could resolve this crisis using the Lord's remnants, then it would be more than worth it.
"In that case, we'll trouble you, Mr. Takumi. Once the Sacred Gear process is complete, we'll hand over the collected knowledge."
Michael was visibly excited. Resolving this crisis meant everything.
According to Takumi, the evil gods of that world were extremely dangerous.
And given the biblical god's warnings, Michael remained deeply wary.
That Takumi was willing to help was a blessing.
After finalizing their agreement, the two chatted casually for a bit.
Soon, a subordinate angel entered and reported:
"Lord Michael, the angels possessing Sacred Gears have all gathered."
Michael nodded, then turned to Takumi.
"Mr. Takumi, everyone is ready. Let's begin."
He was in a hurrybetter to complete this quickly and hand over the promised rewards.
Takumi had no objections.
With that, they stood and headed out.
Outside, over a dozen angels were already assembled.
Each possessed a Sacred Gear.
Dulio Gesualdo, the Ten-Winged Angel who was a reincarnated human, was among them.
As Takumi and Michael approached, all the angels respectfully saluted.
"Lord Michael!!"
Michael nodded and spoke:
"Reveal your Sacred Gears. Mr. Takumi needs your help for his research."
Following his command, the gathered angels displayed their Sacred Gears.
Takumi's eyes lit up. Without hesitation, he began analyzing.
The lower-tier Sacred Gears were child's play to dissect.
But what truly intrigued Takumi was the Holy Lightning Prison.
After swiftly copying the other Sacred Gears, he turned to Dulio Gesualdo.
"Go into Balance Breaker mode. I want to study it more closely."
Dulio raised a brow at the request. He didn't know Takumi's identity, but with Michael's endorsement, he complied.
Activating his Balance Breaker, Dulio's halo became four-layered.
Six pairs of wings flared out.
Bubbles filled with elemental energy floated around him.
His attacks relied on these elemental bubbles.
With the mode active, Takumi could now analyze the Sacred Gear in full detail.
The Holy Lightning Prison ranked second among Longinus-type Sacred Gears.
Only the Twilight Holy Spear surpassed it.
It was far more complex than the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet.
But Takumi pressed on and eventually couldn't help but praise:
"As expected of a divine creation. Marvelous craftsmanship."
"Now I'm even more curious about the Twilight Spear."
"The Twilight Spear? That's the Lord's strongest Sacred Gear. Truly formidable."
Michael nodded in agreement.
"Yes, and the Lord's consciousness still resides in it."
Takumi's comment hit like thunder.
Michael froze.
"What did you say??"
Gabriel and the other angels were equally shocked.
"Mr. Takumi, are you serious? The Lord's will still exists in the Twilight Spear?"
Gabriel was so agitated she rushed up and grabbed Takumi's hand, face flushed with hope.
If the Lord's will remained, did that mean resurrection was possible?
How could she stay calm?
Even Michael looked shaken.
"Mr. Takumi, do you know who currently holds the Twilight Spear?"
"We'll mobilize immediately to retrieve it."
He was fired up. Just tell them the name, and they'd bring that person back, even if it meant war.
Because their Lord might still live.
That alone was worth everything.
Even if only a trace of will remainedit was enough to try.
Takumi watched the frenzied angels and smirked slightly.
"The one who holds it is a member of the Hero Faction. His name is Cao Cao."
Surely they knew that name.
Let them go and get himTakumi had no reason to stop them.
"Cao Cao of the Hero Faction? Understood."
Michael recognized the name.
Now that the truth was known, the rest would be straightforward.
He turned to Raphael, who nodded.
"Uriel and I will go."
He would personally see to this mission.
"Deploy maximum combat strength. Treat it as a war."
Michael's voice was firm.
Raphael understood and immediately began making preparations.
They also summoned several Sacred Gear holdersincluding Dulio.
Clearly, this was no minor operation.
"You all know the Twilight Spear's power. Be wary of spatial abilities. Don't let him escape."
"Capture his allies as well. They all possess Sacred Gears."
Takumi tapped his chin, offering this final suggestion.
He was also quite interested in the others. Even the one with the curry stick.
Chapter 76: Miss Gabriel, Will You Come With Me?
The heavens took the wielder of the Twilight Holy Spear very seriously.
After all, the Twilight Holy Spear was a Sacred Gear that had once pierced Jesus himselfa weapon known as the strongest among all Sacred Gears, containing holy power of terrifying magnitude. As Seraphim of Heaven, they were fully aware of how dangerous such a weapon was.
That was why, this time, Michael personally dispatched two Archangels.
Raphael and Uriel both nodded solemnly at Takumi's reminder. Then, they departed with their subordinates, leaving Takumi alone with Michael and Gabriel.
Once the two angels left, both Michael and Gabriel seemed lost in thought.
