Arriving at Kasuga Hijiri's house, Lilith rapped on the door. Hearing no immediate answer, she realized the door had quietly swung open on its own.
"Huh?"
Peeking in, Lilith called softly:
"Hijiri? Rei Ao? I'm coming in."
After a moment of silence, with no reply, she decided to step inside.
"No one's home?"

"Must've been the wind?"
Feeling a bit uneasy, Lilith headed toward the living room. The hallway was eerily quiet, as if no sound existed.
Yet the moment she stepped into the living room, the air was suddenly full of noiselike turning off "mute" mode on a TV. And that's when Lilith's mind went blank. She froze at the doorway, stunned by the very intense scene before her.
Even more shocking, Kannazuki Arin was right there against the wall less than half a meter away from Lilith, supporting herself in a rathercompromised position.
"What brings you here?"
Arin, and then Rei Aowho was likewise very close to Lilithboth turned to her with a smile.
"I g-gulp"
Lilith swallowed hard, any words she'd intended to say dying in her throat.
Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here?
Her brain practically short-circuited at the sight. She'd known Kasuga Hijiri, Selena, and Lieselotte were "involved," but Arin too? And so outrageous?!
Arin bit her lip, clearly embarrassed to be seen by Lilith. But there was no hiding it. In fact, Lilith's sudden appearance only made Arin tense up more, which seemed to amuse Rei Ao and spur him on further.
With Lilith unable to speak, Rei Ao's attention drifted back to Arin
A short while later
"!!!"
Lilith watched as a metaphorical geyser erupted, and Arin slid slowly down the wall. Rei Ao turned his focus to Lilith.
"I thought you'd leave, but here you are. Thinking of joining us?"
He teased.

Lilith's face was bright as a ripe apple, her eyes twitching wildly.
"Eek!"
At last she found it in herself to shriek and whirl away from them.
"W-what are you guys doing?!"
"Doing?"
Lieselotte sauntered up, wrapping her arms around Rei Ao's waist from behind.
"Isn't it obvious? This is how we express our love."
"You're the trespasser here, Lilith."
"I"
Lilith had no response. Technically, she had entered on her own, though Rei Ao might have orchestrated the unlocked door
"Lilith," Lieselotte continued, "if you're not here to join us, then at least hurry up and say whatever you came for and get out. Quit interrupting. This is our love nest."

Lilith clenched her teeth. She spun around, shutting her eyes and bowing at a full ninety degrees.
"II just came to thank you, Rei Ao, for sparing my father's life!"
Rei Ao's face twitched slightly.
Thank me all you want, but do you realize what you're pressing against me right now?

Chapter 579: Lilith Joining! Adam is Born! Utaha's Confusion...
Lilith suddenly realized something was pushing against the top of her head. She looked up
and her lips metsomething.
"!!!"
Lilith's eyes flew wide, overwhelming shame flooding her entire body. Rei Ao, on the other hand, looked amused.
"Lilith, was that on purposeor just a happy accident?"
"E-eh?!"
Flustered, Lilith covered her mouth and tried to back away, only to find Lieselotte somehow right behind her.
"My, my, Lilith. You went straight for Rei Ao's 'treasure' as soon as you walked in? Looks like you've decided to join us."
Pressing her palms gently against Lilith's back, Lieselotte gave a small push, sending Lilith stumbling forwardright into Rei Ao's arms. He wrapped an arm around her waist, leaned in close to her ear, and said softly:
"Lilith, there are lots of ways to show your thanks. Care to try the way I like best?"
With that, he tipped Lilith's chin upward, slowly bringing his face near. Even though she could practically hear her own frantic heartbeat, Lilith didn't pull away. She merely trembled and closed her eyes.
Taking that as permission, Rei Ao lowered his head without hesitation.
"Mmph!"
Lilithstill naive about such thingsfelt an entirely new sensation overwhelm her as Rei Ao took control of the kiss.
"Oh dear, looks like we've just gained another 'sister'"
Lieselotte stepped behind Lilith. Between Lilith's knees, she felt hands deftly undoing her clasps
Elsewhere, in a small apartment, every piece of furniture and every object was connected to the walls by streaks of purple crystal.
At the center of all that purple crystal was an egg-shaped mass of the same hue, pulsing rhythmically as though it were breathing.
Suddenly, a crack rang out. A fissure formed on the egg's surface, spider webbing outward at high speed. In a moment, the shell was covered in cracks. By usual logic, it should hatch any second.

The purple crystal shell shattered, and whoosh! A hand burst through. Another hand followed. Both hands tore the shell open with ease, and a figure slowly emerged from the hollow.
"Cough, cough!"
Ouma Shu coughed violently, standing stark naked in the middle of the room. He looked down at his own hands, eyes full of curiosity and strangenesslike a newborn discovering the world. He was Ouma Shu, yet simultaneously, not Ouma Shu.
The Apocalypse Virus had chosen him. Having inherited its power, he had been "reincubated" into an entity known as "Adam."
A moment later, a crimson flash flickered in Shu's eyes.
"Destroy everything"
At the same time, multiple individuals across the world who knew about the true nature of the Apocalypse Virusthose who sought to become "Adam" themselveswere shocked.
"No way! Adam has already been born?!"
Among them was Gai Tsutsugami of Funeral Parlor, whose face, already aged, now looked even more stricken.
"How did this happen?! This can't be real!"
No one wanted to become Adam more than he did. Now he was being told that Adam had already come into existence? Didn't that make all his efforts completely pointless?
"Damn it! DAMN IT!"
He began smashing things in a frenzy with his frail, elderly hands. Outside, the Funeral Parlor members heard the commotion and exchanged looks.
"What's up with the boss?"
"No idea. Let's just pretend we didn't hear anything."
At the publishing office
Today, Kasumigaoka Utaha brought her latest manuscript to show to Machida Sonoko.
"This is great."
Sonoko praised it repeatedly, clearly satisfied with Utaha's new book draft.
"Utaha, let's prepare for publication. I'll give you the best resources we have. This book is definitely going to be a hit."
As the newly promoted chief planner, it wasn't hard for Sonoko to allocate top-tier resources.

That time, Utaha's expression changed noticeably. Sonoko instantly understood; no doubt about itit was connected to Rei Ao.
"Utaha, you're still not planning to confess?"
"C-confess?"
Utaha stiffened, rushing to explain:
"II never said I wanted to confess! I never said I like him! Don't go making stuff up, Sonoko."
"Really?"
Sonoko arched an eyebrow, looking skeptical. She slid the manuscript in front of Utaha and said softly:
"In this new book, every description of the male lead's looks and personality is basically Rei Ao. And the heroine is modeled after you."
"The whole story brims with the heroine's unspoken love for the heroyet you claim you don't like him?"
"Ugh"
Utaha looked embarrassed.
"I-is it really that obvious?"
"Extremely obvious. You practically stopped just short of describing his, uhdimensions," Sonoko teased.
Ah, youth. Caught up in such emotional angst, the hallmark of adolescence. Sonoko, who was well past that stage, believed that if you had the chance, you should just go for it. She had, after allhence why she "obtained Rei Ao's precious affection," so to speak.
"Utaha, speaking from experience, if you really like him, you should just confess. Wasting time on self-doubt might cost you everything."
"But"
Utaha's eyes dimmed. She bowed her head slightly.
"It's just I have no idea how Rei Ao feels about me. In the chat group, he openly chases after lots of girls but me, he's never shown any sign. Even though I met him so long ago and we're in the same worldhe's never really expressed anything to me."
She couldn't help feeling self-conscious. Did she just lack appeal? Maybe Rei Ao simply wasn't interested in her?

Fujiwara Chika noticed something was off about Kaguya Shinomiya. Normally so meticulous, Kaguya had been staring off into space the entire day, more absent-minded than even Chika herself.

Kaguya didn't respond.
"How is Ai doing?"
All Kaguya could think about was Ai Hayasaka's condition, worrying over her closest friend's health.
"Kaguya-chan, want to talk about romance? How about a board game? A snack?"
Chika was trying to cheer Kaguya up with various suggestions, but nothing seemed to work. Kaguya remained distracted.
Meanwhile, the Ai Hayasaka preying on Kaguya's thoughts was currently with Fudou Akio and others, learning about magic. She asked if it might be possible for her to pick it up. The answer: very unlikely.
First, one needs a grimoire, which completely rules out any realistic chance of Hayasaka diving into magic.
"Sigh, I knew it wasn't possible."
Hayasaka felt a twinge of disappointment, but she'd figured it wouldn't work. Hoping to change Lady Kaguya's destiny through magic seemed far-fetched to begin with.
"You! You're back!"
Suddenly, Kurata Yui exclaimed excitedly, jogging over. The group turned and saw Rei Ao returning.
"You're finally back! If you hadn't shown up soon, I wasn't sure how to handle her!"
Yamana Mira was referring, of course, to Yatogami Tohka. She'd been worried Tohka might get frustrated enough to use her sword on the academy if things dragged on.
The moment Tohka saw Rei Ao, she flashed over to him in a blink, wrinkling her brow and sniffing the air.
"There's so manydifferent scents on you."
"Eh?"
Kurata Yui also leaned in to sniff.
"Wow, yeah, there's a strong smellsmells kind of like Lilith."
"Right, Lilith went off to find you. Where is she?"
Yamana Mira asked.
"Lilith just finished an intense workout and is currently resting,"
Rei Ao answered. Suddenly, all but Tohka wore some kind of awkward or embarrassed expression. "Intense workout" indeed
"Hmph, perv!"
Yamana Mira turned away, cheeks reddening.
Rei Ao looked at Tohka and Ai Hayasaka.
"So, do you two plan to stay here? If not, let's head back."
He had done what he came to do: resolved Kurata Yui's crisis, tackled Lilith's issues, and incidentally claimed Lilith, Kannazuki Arin, and even become the sole God of this world. At the moment, he'd leveled up again to Level 78.
He had also just emerged from the embrace of Kasuga Hijiri and her companions, assigning them new "divine statuses" in the process:

"What's wrong?"
Rei Ao noticed her shift in mood.
"If I go back, I'll just be sealed away again in the Neighboring Dimension," she replied bitterly. She hated the feeling of being trapped.
Rei Ao brushed his hand gently over Tohka's head.
"If you don't want to stay in that dimension, then reach out to me anytime. I can give you a normal girl's life."
