Takumi and Kaguya immediately started bickering. Akeno watched with an amused smile. Neither of them cared much about the subjectit was just their daily banter. Once they were done, they'd move on to playing games.
Rias observed their squabbling with curiosity. Takumi didn't feel like a typical powerhousehe was surprisingly easygoing. Were people from other worlds all like this? Rias became even more curious about him.
Takumi and Kaguya quarreled for a bit, then started gaming together. Akeno took that as her cue to leave with Rias and the othersthey needed to rest.
Later, Takumi and Kaguya showed up in the chat group to check in. By now, Takumi had racked up over 4000 points.
"Damn it! GDX, can't you upload all the games at once? I've spent all my points buying your games lately!"
Kaguya checked her balance, grumbling. This GDX kept splitting up the games for upload, and now the other members were doing the same. Especially Mikoto Suoh, who'd uploaded a bunch of games toohis world was high-tech, so there were plenty to share. He said he wanted to earn points to heal his body, so this was the only way. It was frustratingeveryone was using games to swindle her points. Damned annoying!
"The points system isn't my idea. If you want to complain, blame the chat group!" Takumi replied, delighted with his own check-in bonus.
"I'm done buying! I'll save up my points and just download directly from your world instead!"
Kaguya angrily tossed her controller. All her check-in points lately had gone to games. She'd said this before, but Takumi didn't mind. Kaguya would say she was done buying, but she'd still buy anyway. Koneko had been thrilled ever since Kaguya joined, because there were so many more games to playif only she didn't have school, she'd have stayed up all night.
[Group member 'Akeno' has checked in successfully.]
[Congratulations to 'Akeno' for obtaining: Superpower Railgun.]
Suddenly, a message popped up in the group.
Chika Fujiwara:
[No way!! Akeno, you actually got something?]
Sagiri:
[Wow, second high-value prize in the group!]
Bronya:
[Damn, a superpower?]
Other group members checking in were all buzzing.
Takumi was a bit surprised, too.
"That's Railgun's ability, right? Not bad!" He stroked his chin. He knew what it was as soon as he saw the namepretty recognizable.
Still, the odds of getting anything from this system were way too low.
Akeno:
[It's not much of a boost I can already control lightning. If you give me some time, I could figure out similar techniques myself.]
But Akeno felt a little let down. The superpower didn't do as much for her as she'd expected. She was a half-human, half-Fallen Angel, and her father was a ten-winged Fallen Angel who specialized in lightning. As his daughter, she'd inherited a lot of those abilities. So this "Railgun" power was honestly not that usefuljust a different application of lightning. It was a little disappointing. The good news was that she'd won something; the bad news was that the prize wasn't all that great.
Chapter 89 True Blockhead, Wont Even Show Me!
Akeno was pretty frustrated, but there wasn't much she could do. Still, it was something, since she had won a prize.
Takumi:
[It really doesn't boost you that much.]
[But if it comes with built-in calculation ability, that should be nice.]
[It'll let you control lightning with more precision!]
For Akeno, who could already manipulate lightning, getting Railgun wasn't a huge deal. At best, it would let her use her power more delicately.
Akeno:
[Yeah, it's true. Not much impact.]
Just as Takumi said, it didn't matter that much.
Takumi:
[Doesn't matteryou still made a profit! Think about everyone else. Most people haven't even gotten a single item! Someone only got Balenciaga and won't even model it for me!]
You've got to relax. Think of that one personbeen in the group for ages, checked in for so long, and the only thing they got, they won't even show the group. You're way ahead of them.
Chika Fujiwara:
[(??Ў)]
[I want to punch you, you giant sp!!]
Just read out my ID, why don't you. That sp is just too much!
Takumi:
[Babe it's late. Wanna hang out?]
Chika Fujiwara:
[No! Go away!!]
[I'm going to bed!!]
Angrily, Chika shut down the chat group and ignored Takumi. She yanked her covers upforget everyone. Still, she couldn't resist peeking at the group chat now and then.
Takumi:
[That's enough already. This woman took my superpower potion at the start, and now she won't even model Balenciaga for me.]
[True blockhead!!]
Bronya:
[?]
[I got one too!]
Sagiri:
[Me too...]
Himeko:
[Me too!]
Takumi:
[Not you guys.]
[I mean that one with the pink hair.]
Chika Fujiwara:
[Just read my ID already!!]
[(??Ў) I knew you were up to no good. No wonder you were giving us so many gifts at the start!]
He really had her wrapped around his fingershe felt totally taken in. Now, seeing Takumi's messages in the group, she was more annoyed than ever. What a jerk.
Takumi:
[How can you say that? I really meant to give you those things!]
Chika Fujiwara:
[You're just a bad guy! Hmph!!]
She was so mad she couldn't sleep, so she got back up and started fighting with Takumi in the group chat. That argument kept her up until past two in the morning.
The next day, Chika nearly overslept and ended up with dark circles under her eyesfrustrating! She huffed and rushed off to school. She felt like she'd totally fallen into Takumi's trap. He must've kept her up arguing on purpose!
...
Takumi had no idea what Chika was thinking. For him, sleep didn't matterhe didn't need it anymore. He could sleep if he wanted, but if not, he'd just be fine.
After breakfast made by Akeno, Takumi looked at Ophis.
"Let's go deal with the stuff on Earth, then head to the Dimensional Gap?"
Ophis, who had gotten up early to eat cake, brightened immediately.
"Okay!"
Finally, they were going to the Dimensional Gap. She was all in.
"When you're done, are you coming back, or?"
Kaguya-hime asked, a little curious.
"Hm, probably not. Once I finish cleaning up the exe leftovers here, I'll take Gabriel and the angels and leave."
Takumi really wasn't planning to return. He'd put Gabriel and the angels into imaginary space and head for the exe worldfinish things there and head home. No way was he making a return trip.
"Alright, I'll head back too, then."
Since that was the plan, Kaguya didn't intend to stick around much longer. She'd go back later.
"No problem. Just go whenever you want. If anything comes up, just shout for me in the group."
They quickly settled their plans.
After breakfast, Takumi got moving. He said his goodbyes to Rias and the others, then took Ophis with him.
First, Takumi and Ophis went to the ocean. By now, Takumi had the world's networks and communications all monitored. That battleship hidden in the deep sea was under his watch, too.
He'd already found that warship ages ago. Now was the time to deal with it.
Anchored deep in the ocean was Dorumado, Rugal Zevah's retainerlord of the seas, a massive 100-meter marine-mechanical lifeform, on the same level as Great Red. It had created its own subordinates too, each with power on par with gods and demon kings. In this world, that thing was insanely dangerous. If the exe world ever invaded, humanity wouldn't stand a chance.
When Takumi and Ophis arrived, the massive shipDorumadoimmediately noticed them. Ophis was on their radar, too, as one of this world's powerhouses.
Takumi wasted no time, unleashing the Herrscher of Corruption's authorityhacking in through the internet and taking control in an instant. Dorumado? Great Red level? In just a moment, it became Takumi's puppet, its consciousness erased. With that done, Takumi made it surface.
The massive body began to rise, churning the sea. What was calm became a turbulent swirl, and soon a gigantic metallic warship broke the surfacea living machine. On it were five subordinates, each with demon king to god-level power: the Five Evils, Dorumado's kin.
"Doesn't feel that strong," Ophis said, frowning at the mechanical lifeform. She really couldn't sense much power from it.
Takumi laughed. "That's because they're machines. It's hard even to sense their existence. That's why they could hide for so long without anyone in this world noticing."
Chapter 90 Let Me Say It Again, Im Their Natural Nemesis!
Mechanical lifeforms are fundamentally different from the native beings of this world. They're like creations of human technologyonly stronger. Because of that, when they came to this world, very few gods could sense them at all. Even Great Red probably never realized such a terrifying thing was hiding in his own world. Their stealth was maxed out.
Ophis listened to Takumi's explanation and tilted her head, looking down at the mechanical lifeform. If she really focused, she couldn't sense anything from itnot even its internal energy. It was as if it didn't exist. If you didn't look closely, you'd never notice the massive energy inside. If they wanted to sneak into this world, no one would catch them unless they paid very close attention. It was a completely different system. Ophis finally understood why nobody had discovered them for so long.
Takumi put Dorumado away by using imaginary space to swallow it. Even though its mind was erased, the huge body was valuablethose materials were precious. With a little modification, Takumi could make a transforming super-Gundam. Pretty nice, right?
And of course, Takumi wasn't about to let the exe evil gods off the hookthey were all valuable to him, especially Dorumado. Once he'd stored it, Takumi and Ophis set off for the far side of the moon.
On the dark side of the moon was Lugahtim, another retainer of Rugal Zevah and also called the Heavenly King. Lugahtim's ship stayed hidden there. Takumi simply tore open space and took Ophis to the moon.
But the moment they arrived, countless cannons locked onto them. Lugahtim had already noticed what happened to Dorumado and prepared for the worst. Now, seeing someone open a portal, Lugahtim wasted no time attacking.
Takumi expected as muchhe'd noticed the link between the two when dealing with Dorumado, so he was prepared.
As soon as Takumi appeared, space shifted. The attacks aimed at him and Ophis warped away, becoming harmless tracer rounds. They weren't even in the same spatial channel, so there was no way for those attacks to hit. At the same time, Takumi activated his authority as Herrscher of Corruption, shutting down the attacking mechanical lifeforms.
Inside the enemy ship, a five-meter-tall humanoid robot was frantically sounding alarms, trying to send a report back. But nothing workedTakumi had everything under control. His authority was a natural counter to these guys. The enemy couldn't even understand what kind of power he was using or why they were invaded so easily. Their firewalls were supposed to be invincible, but suddenly everything was lost. Lugahtim just couldn't figure it out, and in moments, its consciousness was wiped away.
"Like you could ever figure it out. My power is made to counter civilizations like yours. Against machine lifeforms like you, this is child's play."
Takumi muttered as he finished copying the data. Looking at the kilometer-long warship before him, he was quite satisfied. Another warship acquiredtoo easy!
He'd dealt with all these Earth problems in a snap.
"Is it done?" Ophis asked, watching as the warships and robots that had attacked them suddenly stopped moving. She was surprised. Those attacks weren't weakone hit would easily take out someone like Cao Cao. Weapons like that on Earth would make all the gods kneel in a real fight. That's what you call a battlefield reaper. These things weren't even on the same level as everyone else.
"Done. I said from the start, I'm their natural nemesis, right?"
With that, Takumi opened up imaginary space and began collecting all the intact warships. Another massive haul. Every trip to Akeno's world, he made a fortune. Once he returned, he'd be even stronger. The magic technology from the exe world was truly absurd. Back home, Takumi could update and upgrade all sorts of thingsrobots included.
Once everything was packed up, Takumi turned to Ophis.
"Let's goHeaven next!"
With that, he opened a portal and disappeared.
Next, he'd bring Gabriel along and head to the Dimensional Gap.
Ophis hurried after him. The two arrived back in Heaven. As soon as they did, Veya noticed and appeared before Takumi.
"Mr. Takumi, have you finished everything?"
Veya was a little surprised. She'd just sensed a battle in space, and now Takumi was back already. It was over that fast?
"It's done. Next, I'm going to the exe world. Once I finish things there, I'll be leaving your world for good."
Takumi said this calmly. Veya was shocked. Wasn't that thing supposed to be Great Red-level? But Takumi made it sound so easyfaster than a chicken, even. She was speechless.
"I told you, I'm their natural nemesis. They may be strong, but in my eyes, they're weak. No need to be so shocked. It's just a difference in skill."
Veya was left speechless. But, since things were resolved, it was time to call Gabriel and the angels, just as Takumi was planning to leave. With that, she summoned the already-prepared Gabriel and the other angels.
Chapter 91: Beating Up Great Red First
After informing Gabriel, Via turned once again to Takumi.
"Mr. Takumi. I'll leave Gabriel in your care."
Via looked at Takumi very seriously. From now on, Gabriel would follow Takumi, and she truly hoped Gabriel would not suffer any mistreatment.
Hearing this, Takumi nodded in agreement.
"Of course! And when you get the chance, you should come visit my world as well. I'm sure that staying inside a dimensional artifact and being brought over by Zhu Nai shouldn't be a problem for you."
A god of the Bible should easily have that kind of power.
Via, hearing Takumi say this, nodded thoughtfully.
"I understand. If the chance arises, I'll definitely go and have a look."
If that's how it is, then there shouldn't be any problems.
It seemed Takumi was able to travel between worlds using some special means. Maybe he could only cross over by himself, while others had to stay in a storage-type artifact to be brought along?
She had a rough idea now.
Not long after the two finished chatting, Gabriel arrived, leading her group.
They were all female angels, each with blonde hair and blue eyes. There were Ten-Winged Angels, Eight-Winged Angels, and Six-Winged Angelsall under Gabriel's command, part of her own faction.
