Tohru's exuberant voice carried across the sand.
Her long blond hair flew as she waved her arms in excitement.
Beside her, little Kanna blinked huge eyes, clutching a brightly coloured volleyball, cheeks full of anticipation.
"Michiru, play with us," she said.
Tiny as she wasand cute as could beanyone who knew her understood her true nature.
Hearing the call, Michiru Hyd perked right up.
In a pretty swimsuit that showed her fine figure, she strode over with a confident smile.
"Sure!"
She rubbed her hands together, already picturing herself dominating the court.
Kobayashi chuckled and followed, gentlefaced but with a spark of eagerness in her eyes.
Teams were decided in no time:
Tohru and Kobayashi versus Kanna and Michiru.
"Serve coming!"
Kobayashi hefted the ball.
Michiru took her stance, eyes locked on ituntil the very next instant her face froze.
Pop!
At a speed almost too fast for the naked eye, the ball screamed past Michiru's ear like a fired shell, trailing a faint sonic boom.
"Eh?!"
Michiru stood rooted, eyes wide, mouth agape, still feeling the cool wind the ball whipped across her cheek.
What was that?
A serve that fast? This wasn't beach volleyballit was a supersonic missile!
Before her shock subsided, Kanna movedevery bit as unbelievably fast.
The tiny dragon leapt and swung.
Boom!
The ball rocketed back with an even sharper sonic crackfaster, if anything, than Kobayashi's serve.
"Wow!"
It slammed into the sand on Tohru and Kobayashi's side, spraying a cloud of grit.
"Nice one, Kanna!" Tohru laughed, unwilling to lose; she fired it back just as fast, another sonic boom echoing.
And so began a beachvolleyball match that defied all reason.
The two dragons unleashed their full power:
the ball blurred between them, its path invisible, a rapid series of sonic cracks snapping like firecrackers.
White sand burst into little clouds under the shockwaves.
Michiru could only stare, utterly sidelined, unable even to see the ball's shadow.
Is this still beach volleyball?
Nothis was a contest of draconic speed and strength!
Kobayashi tugged at the corner of her mouth. She could tap her Shin powers and join in, but that hardly seemed fair to an ordinary human like Michiru.
The commotion drew everyone else.
Activities ceased as people gawked at the godlevel rally.
"Whoa that's awesome!" cried Sora, standing with Illya, both faces alight with wonder.
Mabel, Alicia and Sumika Fujimiya clustered together; Alicia's jaw hung open.
"Hhow are they even doing that?"
"Plenty of folks in the Chat Group aren't exactly ordinary," Sumika clicked her tongue. Only Rei Ao, she mused, could win them over and gather them here.
Kaguya Shinomiya, puzzled and dazed, whispered to Ai Hayasaka beside her, "Ai, that little girl called Kannahow can she be so powerful? She's so tiny"
Hayasaka, unruffled as ever, glanced at the court and replied calmly, "Lady Shinomiya, she's no ordinary girl. She's a dragon."
"A dragon?!"
Kaguya's eyes went wide; the revelation was hard to swalloweven knowing such impossibilities might exist, seeing one in the form of an adorable child was another matter entirely.
Hayasaka simply nodded and kept watching the incredible match.

Chapter 743: Behind the Secluded Rocks...
On the other side.
Rei Ao shifted his gaze away from the bustling volleyball court.
He noticed two figures seated on a cluster of rocks in the distance.
They were YukinoshitaFuyuka and YuigahamaYuiai.
YukinoshitaFuyuka's long hair fell over her shoulders, her bearing cool and aristocratic. Even while sunbathing on the sand, she still maintained an air of elegance.
A faint smile rested on her lips, as though she were savoring a moment of tranquility.
YuigahamaYuiai, by contrast, looked warm and friendly.
With a gentle smile, she was speaking softly to YukinoshitaFuyuka.
The two seemed to be enjoying an amiable conversation; the atmosphere was thoroughly harmonious.
Rei Ao's mouth curved into a slight smile and he stepped toward them.
Hearing approaching footsteps,
YukinoshitaFuyuka and YuigahamaYuiai turned their heads at the same time.
When they saw it was Rei Ao, both paused for an instant.
"Rei Aokun."
YukinoshitaFuyuka spoke first. Her voice was cool, her expression little changed, though an almost imperceptible ripple flashed through her eyes.
"Rei Ao~"
YuigahamaYuiai greeted him with a brighter smile and unreserved enthusiasm.
Rei Ao walked up, sitting on the rock between them.
The two women instinctively shifted to give him room.
His multicolored pupils swept over them appreciatively.
"Two beautiful ladies, basking in the sun and chatting away so happily."
"It's nothing, just casual talk," YukinoshitaFuyuka replied calmly.
YuigahamaYuiai nodded. "Exactly. Mrs.Yukinoshita is so nicetalking with her is a pleasure.
"Besides, her daughter Yukino and my Yui are very good friends."
Rei Ao's arrival made the previously relaxed mood turn a touch restrained.
Both women sat a little straighter, a hint of tension and anticipation in their eyes.
Rei Ao noticed, secretly amused, but said no moremerely chatted idly with them,
from the weather and the beach to bits of their own lives.
His words were witty and lighthearted, always finding the perfect moment to make them laugh. The stiffness gradually melted away.
As the conversation went on,
Rei Ao's arm slipped out naturally, wrapping around the waists of YukinoshitaFuyuka and YuigahamaYuiai.
Both bodies stiffened at once, crimson blooming across their cheeks.
YukinoshitaFuyuka tensed slightly, surprise and shyness flickering in her eyes, yet she did not immediately push him away.
YuigahamaYuiai grew even more bashful, cheeks blazing red, eyes flitting asideyet she, too, did not resist.
Sensing no rejection, Rei Ao felt even more pleased.
He drew them a little closer with gentle pressure.
"Your skin looks wonderfulsunlight makes you both even more captivating."
His voice, low and magnetic, brushed their ears.
Neither woman dared look up; they merely felt the strength of his arms and the warmth of his body.
Taking in their bashful expressions, Rei Ao's desire was well and truly kindled.
He hesitated no longer.
Lowering his head, he pressed a kisstender yet possessiveonto YukinoshitaFuyuka's lips,
then turned to YuigahamaYuiai and claimed her with equal affection and possessiveness.
When it finally ended,
both women were breathless,
slumped bonelessly against Rei Ao, faces flushed crimson,
eyes hazy, as though all strength had left them.
Rei Ao, seeing their enticing state, let a mischievous smile tug at his lips.
He leaned close to their ears, speaking in a voice only the three could hear, full of playful interest: "Don't you think the space behind this rock is very secluded?"
The dazed look in the women's eyes cleared slightly at his words.
They froze, then realized simultaneously what Rei Ao intended.

Their cheeks turned an even deeper red, as if blood might drip.
YukinoshitaFuyuka bit her lipthere was shyness and hesitation in her gaze, but even more an indescribable anticipation.
YuigahamaYuiai buried her head lower, small hands gripping Rei Ao's arm, body trembling faintlyclearly both embarrassed and expectant.
Rei Ao, satisfied by their reactions, smiled.
Without another word, he helped them to their feet and guided them behind the rock.
The space there was small but extremely hidden, shielded by the tall reefutterly invisible from outside.
Sunlight could not reach here; it was slightly cool, the ground covered by a layer of soft, fine sand.
Far down the beach,
YukinoshitaYukino and YuigahamaYui were strolling by the sea.
Yui was collecting pretty shells.
Yukino, cool as everan icequeen aurakept her unique elegance even on the shore.
Looking around, she frowned slightly and said, puzzled, "Strange why are Mom and Rei Ao gone? I just saw them on that rock."
Yui, lively and cute, also looked around and echoed, "Yeah, my mom's missing too. She was chatting with Yukinochan's mom a moment ago. Where could they have gone?"
Both girls were bewildered.
Just then
"What are you two talking about?"
YukinoshitaHaruno walked over.
She wore a black bikini; her curvaceous figure made even Yukino secretly envious.
"Please don't butt into our conversation, Oneesan," Yukino said coldly,
her gaze sliding between Yui and Haruno's chests, leaving her somewhat vexed.
"Yukino-chan, are you really that reluctant to welcome your own sister? Is it because my figure upsets you?"
Haruno gave a playful grin,
glancing at Yukino and Yui, then at the distant rockscomprehension flashing in her eyes.
She smiled meaningfully. "Ahhh, they've probably gone back to rest."
Patting their shoulders, she added, "All right, all right, don't worry about them. Let's enjoy ourselves.
"This lovely beach breeze shouldn't go to wastelet Mom and the others have their own fun~"
Though still a little puzzled, Yukino and Yui nodded and continued their seaside stroll.
Behind the distant rocks lay the resting place of the trio.

Chapter 744: Talk about Puberty Syndrome with Nodoka
The afternoon sunlight had baked the beach until it was scorching; fine grains of sand slid in rustling streams aroundToyohamaNodoka's feet.
She was standing there, head tipped back, eyes fixed on the volleyball flashing between Tohru and Kanna.
That ball moved far beyond the range the human eye could normally follow. Each time it sliced through the air it triggered a sonic boom; sand was sucked up into spiralling vortices that burst into white clouds between the two teams.
Nodoka's mouth had been hanging open for quite a while.
As a highschool girl who had only recently come into contact with the supernatural, what she was seeing now overturned her worldview even more violently than any case of Puberty Syndrome she had run into so far.
"Hey, have you stared long enough?"
The voice of MaiSakurajima drifted over from behind her, cool and clear like the sea breeze.
Nodoka spun round and found herself looking straight into those familiar amber eyeseyes that at this moment sat in her own slightly babyfat face.
The tall, willowy figure that should have belonged to Mai was currently wrapped in the pink onepiece swimsuit with the logo that Nodoka normally wore. Crystal sand still clung to the tips of her hair, yet the whole person somehow radiated an effortless starquality.
"Aren't you going for a swim?"
Almost without thinking, Nodoka reached up to touch her own cheeks; the skin felt so smooth it hardly seemed to belong to her at all. The soul inside the body had changed, and so had the aura that body gave off.
Mai did not answer. She merely lifted her chin towards the quieter stretch of rocks.
"Come with me. We need to talk."
Puzzled, Nodoka followed her.
They walked side by side past the bustling crowd.
Sora was waving his arms, excitedly breaking down volleyball trajectories for Ilia.
KaguyaShinomiya was still pestering AiHayasaka with the question, "Do dragons even need to breathe?"
In the distance MegumiKat was settling a sunhat onto Eriri's head, their laughter shredded into pieces by the surf.
Nodoka couldn't resist looking back once more at Tohru and the othersKanna had just unleashed a spike that drove the ball straight into the sea, the resulting jet of water shooting higher than a person.
"Quit staring."
Mai stopped in the shadow of the rocks, and when she turned round her expression had darkened a little.
"How long are you planning to drag out this bodyswap business? Haven't you untied your 'heart knot' yet?"
Nodoka's fingers twisted in the ties of the swimsuit; her toes traced crooked arcs in the sand. Ever since the sudden body swap with Mai she had been drowning in unprecedented confusion: first sheer panic, then curiosity, then the shock of watchingMai, in Nodoka's body, deal calmly with fans and even face Rei Ao without blinking.
But the moment Mai mentioned a "heart knot", her shoulders sagged.
"I I don't know how to change back"
Her voice was as soft as a mosquito's hum.
"And what do you mean by 'heart knot'? I don't have any heart knot."
"Don't you?"
Mai arched an eyebrow, lifting windtossed hair with a hand that was Nodoka's in appearance yet moved with Mai's unmistakable grace.

Her gaze turned earnest, even carrying a faint, hardtodetect edge of annoyance.
