Red hair. Golden eyes.

And that unmistakable aura.

Calm. Pure. Radiant.

That unique, powerful energy could only belong to one person.

The Hero.

"Y-Y-Your Excellency?!" Suzuno blurted out, her voice cracking.

The hammer in her hand clattered to the floorbut she didn't even notice.

A flood of joy, disbelief, and relief overwhelmed her, and her eyes began to tear up.

Emilia stared at the kimono-clad girl with a puzzled expression.

She was sure she'd never seen her before.

But the faint trace of Ente Isla's holy energyand the raw emotion in her eyestold her this girl was the real deal.

No way Rei Ao was lying.

"I'm Emilia, the Hero," she said gently. "I get the feeling you know mebut who are you?"

"You came from Ente Isla too?"

Suzuno noddedhard. She could barely get her words out.

"Y-Yes! Yes, Your Excellency! I'm"

"Hold up," Rei Ao cut in with a smile. "I know you're excited, but maybe... not the best place to catch up?"

Suzuno blinked, then quickly came to her senses.

"R-Right! Sorry, come inplease, let's talk inside!"

She rushed to the side, welcoming them into her small apartment.

At that moment, she only had eyes for Emilia.

The mysterious man's presence? Completely forgotten.

Emilia looked over at Rei Ao.

He gave her a small nod, reassuring her.

They stepped inside.

The apartment was small. Minimalist. Peaceful.

A half-finished bowl of udon still sat on the low table, the broth giving off a gentle warmth.

Flustered, Suzuno grabbed it, tucked it away, and quickly brewed tea for both guests.

Then she knelt across from themformal, but visibly overwhelmed.

The entire time, her eyes never left Emilia.

Full of awe. Respect. And something close to worship.

Chapter 826: Going to Ente Isla to Cleansed the Church!

"Hero I'm justso glad you're safe."

Suzuno Kamazuki's voice still trembled from the aftershock of emotion.

"My real name is Crestia Bell. I'm the Chief Executive Officer of the Audit Bureau under the Church of the Great Law-God. I've been going by the name Kamazuki Suzuno."

She finally revealed her true identity.

"Audit Bureau? Crestia Bell?"

Emilia frowned, confused.

That nameand departmentmeant nothing to her.

She knew about the Church's Tribunal and Missionary Division but the Audit Bureau? Wasn't that some minor back office?

Not even close.

The Audit Bureau was critical, but completely hidden from public viewfor a reason: it served as the Church's execution arm.

Suzuno noticed Emilia's confusion, and her expression turned serious, even a little heavy.

"Hero what I'm about to say might be hard to hear. But please, let me finish."

She took a deep breath and began explaining everything she knew.

"Not long after you vanished, I was doing a routine audit of senior clergy financesand I found a bunch of red flags. Every lead pointed to one of the Six High Priests: Olba Meyer."

Emilia's heart sank at the name.

Her face went pale.

Rei Ao gently took her hand.

"I followed the money trail and kept digging."

Crestia's voice was calm, sharpthe voice of a veteran auditor.

"Turns out, Olba was abusing his power in horrifying ways. But the worst part? He's not the only one. The Church's upper ranks are all involved."

"I pulled confidential records, connected the dotsand what I found was terrifying. The Church is completely corrupt and twisted. There's no justice. Not anymore."

"You're saying they even planned to hurt me?"

Emilia wavered.

She had heard hints of this from Olba himself, but hearing it confirmed by a Church insider? That betrayal stung deep.

Crestia didn't stop.

"And to cover up his crimes, Olba imprisoned your friendsEmerada Etuva and Albert Ende."

"Where are they?!"

At the mention of their names, Emilia snapped.

"They're being held deep in the Inquisition's dungeon. Publicly, the Church says they 'voluntarily locked themselves up' for failing to protect you."

"What?!"

"Emerada and Albert imprisoned in the Inquisition?"

Emilia stood up, fury burning in her eyes.

She had thought they were simply under house arrestnot this.

"Yes. And their situation... probably isn't good."

Crestia's face showed a flash of both rage and sorrow.

"To erase all chances of your return, Olba even teamed up with the fallen angel Lucifer. They planned to kill both you and Demon King Satan in this worldto eliminate all risks."

Crestia went on to reveal everything: the evidence she'd uncovered, Olba's plans, and the Church's higher-ups protecting himor at least looking the other way. She also described in detail how the Church's internal politics had rotted it from the inside.

These so-called "leaders" no longer cared about faith or the people.

They only cared about keeping power and silencing anyone who threatened it.

"I can't be part of a Church like this anymore."

Crestia's voice was firm and unwavering.

"This goes against everything I believed in when I joined the Audit Bureau. I wanted to keep the Church clean and fair."

"Eventually I realizedif anything's going to change, it has to start with you, Hero."

"Only you, the true savior of the world, have the credibility to rip off the Church's mask and expose the rot underneath. Only you can restore the light of the Law-God to the places it was supposed to shine."

She stood up and bowed deeply.

"That's why I used my clearance to trace the last dimensional residue Olba left behind. It led me here. I took on this name and began searching for you."

"I wanted to bring you the truth. And I want to help you return to Ente Islato clean house and restore justice."

Emilia sat in silence.

Her face went through a storm of emotionsshock, sorrow, furybefore settling into a quiet, aching calm.

Every word from Crestia had hit her like a hammer.

Each one shattered the hopeful image she once held of the Church.

She slowly sat back down and closed her eyes, grieving.

Rei Ao didn't say a wordthis was her world, her truth to process.

Time passed.

Eventually, Emilia opened her eyes.

Though pain still shimmered in her clear gaze, there was something deeper nowcalm, hardened by experience.

She turned to Suzuno.

"I believe you. I really do."

"But going back to Ente Isla"

She looked to the one person who had stood beside her all this time.

Rei Ao smiled softly.

"You're my wife. Of course I'll help you."

"Thank you."

Hearing his wordsso simple, so certainwarmed Emilia's heart.

Her gaze drifted into the distance, as if seeing beyond space itself all the way to Ente Isla.

"I understand now."

Her voice was quietbut it carried the weight of a decision.

"Thank you, Suzuno. Thank you for telling me the truth. And thank you for holding on to justice."

That moment marked a turning point.

Now, there was no more doubt.

The Churchher Churchwas corrupt.

Ente Islaher homelandwas broken.

And she, the betrayed Hero, the friend, the child of that land

She had to go back.

Not for revenge.

Not for power.

But to fix what was broken.

To be a light for those who still believed.

Her journey was far from over.

But this time, she wouldn't walk it alone.

She had found something new

She had Rei Ao.

Chapter 827: Visiting Ente Isla

Holy Cross Continent Ente Isla

Space rippled like the surface of a pond disturbed by a pebblesilent, fluid, and eerily calm.

No explosions.

No dramatic flashes tearing through the sky.

Just a faint distortion in the air, as if reality had passed through a layer of invisible, sticky film.

And then

A wave of unfamiliar energy hit them.

The air was fresh, rich, and full of life. The scent of soil, leaves, and something impossibly puresomething that felt like the world itselfwrapped around them.

This wasn't a city choked by industry.

This wasn't Earth's thin, processed air.

This was Ente Isla.

And deep inside, Emilia and Suzuno Kamazuki both felt itthe overwhelming sense of coming home.

"Mm!"

Emilia let out a soft gasp.

A surge of warmth and powerlong dormant like a sleeping volcanoerupted from within her.

Her hair lifted on its own, strands glowing as if they'd been given new life.

The disguise she wore in the human worlddyed redfaded away in an instant, revealing its true form: a pure, luminous silver that cascaded down her back like moonlight.

A soft silver aura wrapped around her, gentle but unshakably strong.

As it flowed, it formed into armorsleek, elegant, inscribed with ancient runes, and glowing with divine brilliance.

At her waist, the ghost of her holy sword flickered, radiating an intensity that made evil itself recoil.

Emilia Justina, the Hero, had returnedwhole, powerful, and ready to fight once more on the land she had once sworn to protect.

"Hahh"

Suzuno exhaled, deeply and slowly.

Her plain kimono disintegrated and reformed instantly, turning into her official black enforcer uniform from her days as Auditor Christine Bellsharp lines, gold trim, efficient and authoritative.

Holy power pulsed through her again, refined and focused, reigniting abilities that had dulled over time.

The sacred weapon in her handdisguised as a war hammerlet out a soft hum of recognition, golden runes flowing across its surface.

She could feel her strength again. Her eyes, now razor-sharp, burned with a quiet determination.

She was ready for war.

The two women locked eyes.

No words needed.

The look between them said it all: We're back.

Standing beside them was Rei Ao, still dressed in a simple hoodie and jeans. Compared to the enchanted medieval fantasy around him, he looked wildly out of place.

He scanned the world around him with casual curiositythe towering mountains in the distance, the ancient forests nearby, the thick elemental energy and magic floating in the air.

And yet, he didn't feel out of place. He was the anomaly. A singularity.

The energy around him bent unnaturally, avoiding him like a wild animal steering clear of something far above its league.

"So, this is Ente Isla," Rei Ao said with a smile. "Feels like home?"

"Better than ever," Emilia said, clenching her fist.

She could feel the energy flowing through her again, reconnecting her to the land. Her eyes burned with conviction.

"My strength is back."

"Objective clear. Condition optimal," Suzuno added bluntly.

Her eyes were already fixed on the silhouette of a massive city in the distanceradiating holy light even in the darkness.

The Sacred Capital of the Grand Church.

"Alright," Rei Ao said. "Let's start by finding your friend, Emilia."

He didn't raise a hand. He didn't need to.

Just a thought, and space itself folded obediently before him.

A portal appearedstable, deep, and seamless.

Through it, the view opened up to a massive library bathed in soft light. The air inside was thick with the scent of parchment, ink, and magical preservatives.

The Forbidden Archivethe Grand Church's most guarded secret.

Here, knowledge deemed "dangerous" or "forbidden" by the Church was sealed away.

Tall bookshelves stretched endlessly toward the ceiling, quiet as sleeping giants.

Magic crystals embedded in the walls and ceiling glowed softly, casting a hushed, reverent glow.

It felt like a templesilent, heavy, sacred.

In a sealed chamber buffered by silence and warding spells, a small figure sat hunched at a massive desk piled high with star charts and ancient tomes.

Emeralda Etuva.

Once the most powerful mage on the Western Continent.

Now, a "special prisoner" of the Church.

Her iconic green hair was disheveled, ends curled like spring grass.

Her matching green eyes were sharp but anxious, locked on a parchment covered in intricate spatial coordinates and energy patterns.

The regal robe she woreonce embroidered with the Saint Aire Empire's golden crestwas now smudged with ink and dust.

She looked like someone who hadn't had the time or freedom to care about appearances for a while.

"Damn it it's jammed again"

Emeralda muttered under her breath, fingers raking through her hair in frustration.

A pale green glow flickered between her slender fingers as she carefully manipulated a device on the deska tangle of rare crystals and enchanted wires.

A contraband artifact she had secretly built, meant to detect energy across worlds and send faint signals.

Last time, she had caught a sliver of Emilia's holy sword auraand it worked. She made contact.

But the Church noticed.

The signal was jammed. Emilia disappeared again.

She'd tried to warn them about Olba's betrayal.

But her device's energy spike was picked up by the library's surveillance wards.

Since then, they'd reinforced her containment. Heavier restrictions. More layers of monitoring.

Still she kept trying.

Chapter 828: Rei Ao is my husband!

"That asshole Olba!"

Emerada gritted her teeth in frustration.

She was stuck here, unable to pass on the most critical intel to Emilia.

Emilia was all alone in that unfamiliar world

and still had to face Olba and Lucifer's twisted scheme.

The more she thought about it, the more anxious she got.

Her emerald-green eyes were filled with worry and helplessness.

Thena voice she'd never forget, one she'd dreamed of hearing again, rang out quietly behind her, trembling ever so slightly:

"Emerada"

Her body went stiff on the spot.

No way. Was she just hearing things?

Or had the stress finally pushed her into hallucinating?

"That voice no way"

She slowlypainfully slowlylifted her head and turned around.

Under soft lighting, three figures stood quietly at the door.

At the front was the one she'd been worried sick aboutEmilia Justina.

Silver hair flowing like a waterfall, radiant silver armor, and the holy sword on her back glowing with intense, pure power.

Her crystal-clear eyes shimmered with a mix of joy, disbelief, and something far more complicated.

Standing beside her was Suzuno Kamazuki, dressed in her sharp, formal auditor's uniform, face stern and serious.

Emerada recognized her instantly.

She was the Inspection Bureau's no-nonsense chief enforcerby the book, no exceptions.

What the hell was she doing with Emilia?
