She forcefully dragged Kiana off to the medbay.
Hearing that, Himeko snapped to attention.
It was over.
Time to go home.
She finally relaxed.
Thank goodness!
After giving the order to return, Himeko turned to Takumi.
This man from another world.
He was a Herrscher too.
One with multiple Authorities.
But he seemed to stand on humanity's side.
Bronya had briefly explained his background.
This guy even helps civilizations grow.
Bringing people from other worlds and advancing them rapidly.
All just to make himself stronger.
She had to admit he was an unusual one.
She'd never heard of anyone doing that before.
Chapter 122: One Himeko, Two Himekos, Three Himekos
Takumi noticed Himeko's gaze. He smiled at her warmly.
After closely observing her condition, Takumi couldn't help but say: "Miss Himeko, your body condition really isn't looking too good." "You're like a candle flickering in the wind."
With this close inspection, Takumi finally understood how dire her situation truly was.
"It's fine. As long as I'm still alive," Himeko replied, unconcerned. She was fully aware of her own condition. Each day she lived was a gift. As long as she was alive, that was enough.
"Give me your hand." Takumi looked at Himeko and spoke with a firm tone.
Himeko blinked, slightly confused. "What are you doing?" She didn't quite understand what Takumi was up to.
"I promised another Himeko that I would help you. That's also why Mei asked me to come."
Himeko was stunned. She turned to look at Mei.
Mei, worried, quickly nodded. "Yes, Aunt Himeko." Her face was filled with concern. She was really afraid Himeko would just never wake up one day. To Mei, Himeko was someone she deeply respected.
Hearing this, Himeko smiled faintly. Just as she was about to respond, a spatial rift suddenly opened next to Takumi and the others.
Out stepped another Himekodressed in fine clothes, looking even younger than the one already present.
Takumi was stunned at the sight. "Himeko? What are you doing here?" He was genuinely surprised.
"I just checked the group chat a little late, and you all had already left," the younger Himeko said. "So I had no choice but to come through like this. Luckily, I still had some points."
"Old Yang wanted to come too, but I couldn't bring him along." She sounded a bit regretful.
But this wasn't Old Yang's timeline, was it? He should still be alive and well. Probably a different timeline, huh?
Parallel worlds.
She didn't think too hard about it. Her gaze shifted to the other version of herself.
Everyone else stared with wide eyes. Theresa and Bronya were both dumbfounded.
"Wha-wha-what? Another Himeko?!"
Even the original Himeko looked dazed at the younger version of herself.
"We finally meet. Looks like we finally have a chance." The younger Himeko beamed and greeted her counterpart.
The elder Himeko smiled in return. "Hello! I'm Murata Himeko. Also a Himeko!"
The younger Himeko nodded. "I'm also Himeko."
They shook hands. Takumi, recognizing the iconic moment, quickly snapped a picture.
"Young Himeko!! Wow!! What's going on today?! First a grown-up Bronya, now a young Himeko?!"
Theresa was close to losing it. What in the world was happening? Was world-hopping really this easy for everyone?
"Yeah, they're Himekos from different worlds." "There's a Himeko in my world tooslightly older than this one."
Stay calm. This sort of thing happens all the time. Lots of Himekos out there. One Himeko, two Himekos, three Himekos. Nothing wrong with that.
Theresa now had a bunch of question marks on her face. Hmm could there be multiple versions of her too? She was strangely curious now.
Takumi ignored everyone and turned to Murata Himeko. "Alright, let me treat you first."
Not waiting for her response, Takumi immediately activated his powers and began healing her.
He repaired every damaged cell in her body. Even those eroded by Honkai energy.
"Maybe you should visit World Serpent and ask Mobius to perform a hyper-evolution surgery."
"If they see Himeko, I'm sure they'll be very interested."
Looking at Murata Himeko's condition, Takumi suggested it casually.
Both Himekos paused.
The newer Himeko from Honkai: Star Rail nodded thoughtfully.
"That might actually work."
After all, this Himeko looked exactly like the pre-civilization Himiko.
Sending her to undergo a hyper-evolution shouldn't be a problem. Mobius would definitely be interested.
Murata Himeko, meanwhile, looked completely confused. What were they even talking about?
"But let's put that aside for now. I came here for another reason." Takumi's expression turned hopeful.
After finishing the healing, Takumi finally withdrew his hand.
"Thank you! I feel lighter than ever." Himeko quickly expressed her gratitude.
For the first time, she felt completely at ease. Her wounds had truly healed. She couldn't stop smiling. This was amazing.
"No problem. Just don't get into any battles for now. Otherwise, your body won't hold out."
Takumi hadn't done anything weird. Just some basic repairs.
As long as she didn't fight, she could easily live to 99.
"I doubt that's possible. Here, take this. Inject it."
Honkai Himeko knew exactly what this Himeko was thinking. After all, they were the same person.
She handed over a vial to Murata Himeko.
Takumi's eyes widened.
"Superpower Awakening Serum?!" Wasn't that the serum he gave to Himeko?
"Yep. I only gave Herta two vials. The rest I kept. But they've started mass production over there."
She looked at Takumi with a teasing smile.
"Looks like I might be your business rival soon."
Takumi rolled his eyes at her joke. He didn't believe it.
Murata Himeko looked at the serum in her hand, surprised. She glanced at her alternate self but didn't ask anything.
Instead, she injected it straight into her arm.
She had heard everything earlier.
Superpower Awakening Serum. Just from the name, she could tell it would awaken special abilities.
And she trusted her other self.
Perhaps it was destiny.
Once she injected it, power began surging within heridentical to the Himeko standing before her.
A power that let her control flames.
Feeling the new force coursing through her body like a natural extension of herself, Murata Himeko was left in awe.
Chapter 123: The First Divine KeyVoid Archives Desired
Both Himekos held flames in their hands, gazing at each other.
"As expected!" "Exactly the same ability." "Of course, it's me after all!"
The Honkai-verse Himeko laughed with delight. It truly was the same. Her theory was correct: if she could awaken this superpower, then the other Himeko could as well.
"Train it well. This power has an impressive upper limit." "And over time, it will reshape your body." "Eventually, Honkai energy may no longer pose a threat to you."
Seeing the ability successfully awaken, Takumi began to explain to the other Himeko.
After she injected the serum, Takumi had been observing the changes in her body. Now that she had awakened this power, she was like someone born with Stigmataher constitution would slowly shift as well. So, there wasn't much to worry about.
Hearing this, Himeko nodded. Beside her, Mei's face lit up with joy.
"That's wonderful, Miss Himeko! Now you'll be okay from now on!"
She was truly happy. With Honkai Himeko's arrival, another major worry had been resolved. Mei couldn't be more relieved.
"Superpower Awakening Serum? A drug that grants superpowers? Can it be mass-produced?"
Theresa finally couldn't hold her curiosity in. She approached to watch the Himeko playing with fire.
If this thing could really be mass-produced, wouldn't it mean humanity could gain power to fight the Honkai? What a game-changer!
Hearing Theresa's questions, Honkai Himeko chuckled.
"This serum belongs to Takumi. Mass production is definitely possible. In his world, everyone gets a share." "If you're interested, maybe talk it over with him?"
She grinned, nudging the conversation back to Takumi.
Theresa turned to look at him.
"No rush," Takumi replied calmly. "I imagine your grandfather already knows everything that's been happening here. Am I right, Otto?"
As he spoke, he looked toward the ship's central console.
Though Mei had cut off communications for the whole city earlier, Hyperion had since left that zone. So, everything that happened after Himeko's arrival had likely been seen by Otto. That's why Takumi said what he did.
Everyone froze for a moment. Theresa was stunned.
The next second, Otto's image appeared on Hyperion's main screen.
"Grandfather?!" Theresa nearly collapsed at the sight.
"No doubt you're a remarkable guest from another world. Hello, sir. I am Otto, Overseer of Schicksal."
Takumi smiled. "I know everything about youand your future. So, I'm already quite familiar."
To many, a dead Otto is a good Otto. But Takumi wasn't too bothered. Otto's only goal was to revive Kallenthe woman who ran off with a fox.
Gotta admit, the Pure Love War God really went hard.
Otto's eyes showed a flicker of surprise. He glanced at the people standing aboard Hyperion.
"I see. Then there's no need for lengthy introductions. I suppose you know a lot already, sir?"
"Of course," Takumi replied. "For exampletrue Kiana is Durandal. Or how you want to revive Kallen. Or how, in the end, you became a false god and created a timeline on the Imaginary Tree just for her."
"I know everything. Past, present, future."
I've read your script. So there's nothing I don't know.
Otto's eyes lit up with astonishment. "So I succeeded? Looks like my plan worked, then."
"Yeah, you did bring her back. But unfortunately, you're done for, too. And I've got more news: although your plan worked, it might now fail. Because I'm here."
His meaning was obvious. That future could no longer repeat itself.
The moment Mei joined the chat group, this world's timeline had already branched into something new.
Otto frowned slightly but quickly smiled again.
"True. It seems we must meet face to face, Mr. Takumi."
Since the plan had collapsed, it was time to shift to another.
Just as Takumi saidhis presence in this world had invalidated all of Otto's assumptions.
Whatever future might have played outTakumi's arrival had rewritten everything.
So Otto wanted to meet. If the old plan couldn't be fulfilled, then he'd pay the price to make Takumi help him.
This man from another worldsurely he had the means?
"Bring Durandal along. I'll be waiting at St. Freya."
Takumi didn't refuse. He needed many things from this worldincluding remnants of the Previous Era.
Otto's Divine Keys? Oh yes, Takumi wanted to play with those.
Especially the First Divine Key: Void Archives.
A treasure housing vast knowledge from the Previous Civilization.
There was no way Takumi would pass that up. So much of what he wanted was inside it.
And the other Divine Keys Otto held? Takumi wanted those too.
This sly old fox had a lot of good stuff.
Takumi knew exactly why Otto wanted to meet. He just wanted a way to bring Kallen back.
Which wasn't a problem.
Because Takumi did have ways to resurrect the dead.
Just the magic he brought from You's world alone could do it.
Necromancy, plus an angel's revival spell.
Yeah, Takumi knew how to do all that.
Summon the soul. Construct a new body. Then revive it with divine magic.
Easy peasy.
Hearing all this, Otto was thrilled.
"Then see you soon."
He ended the call and quickly went to prepare.
"Takumi, you're really going to meet Otto?"
Mei looked nervous. To her, Otto was extremely dangerous.
And now Takumi wanted to meet him?
"Of course I will. Otto's dream is simplebring back Kallen."
"And that's easy for me."
"So it's no big deal!"
"Mei, want me to help you bring your mom back, too?"
"Let me meet the mother-in-law?"
Takumi grinned radiantly.
Hearing this, Mei was completely dumbfounded.
Chapter 124: Resurrection? Isnt That Just a Matter of Having Hands?
Resurrect her own mother?
Mei couldn't deny itwhat Takumi just said stirred something in her.
"Would it be difficult?" Mei looked at Takumi nervously.
"I said it's super easy," he replied with a chuckle. "Just check the chat group. There's a spell called Soul Summon."
"If you learn it, then once Bronya gets her license from Old Yang, building a body with her will be simple, right?" "And then, just use angelic magic at the end. Done."
Takumi grinned at Mei. Resurrection really was that easy.
Isn't it just a matter of having hands?
Bronya, however, looked confused. "Getting a license from Old Yang?"
Theresa and the original Himeko were similarly puzzled.
But Honkai-verse Himeko, upon hearing Takumi mention Old Yang, glanced over at Bronya.
So she's the successor to Old Yang in this world
So young!
And Old Yang's still alive here.
This visit, actually, was also partly to deliver a letter for him.
So Old Yang just received a message from the future?
How fascinating.
Time really is something strange and interesting, Himeko thought to herself.
Meanwhile, Mei quickly opened the group chat and started searching.
She soon found the necromancy spell Takumi had mentionedSoul Summon.
A spell to recall a soul, regardless of how long they've been dead. All that was needed was a personal belonging.
Even better if the body was still available.
Call the soul back. Then use angelic magic to revive the person.
But if you only used necromancy, the person would end up a zombie.
Like that infamous dancing king.
After reading Takumi's full resurrection method, Mei understood why he said Bronya would be involved in creating a body using the Herrscher of Reason's power.
That really was feasible.
She continued reading and soon found the angelic revival spell.
"It's true combining the two would definitely allow resurrection."
Now she got the full process:
First, use necromancy to summon the soul. Then, Bronya uses her powers to construct a body. Finally, an angelic revival spell finishes the job.
That's how you bring someone back from the dead.
"Got it! I want to resurrect my mother!!"
"I'm going to contact my father right now."
Mei made her decision on the spot.
If it was really that simple, what was there to hesitate about?
Wellnot for everyone.
