A graduation ceremony could practically start.
Theresa was at a loss.
"Bronya, what's going on?" "Why are you a Herrscher now too?!"
Her tone was filled with frustration.
"Because Welt Yang gave her the Herrscher core." "She's now the Herrscher of Reason." "As for Little Shiki, I turned her into one myself."
Takumi stepped forward and explained casually.
Then he turned to Fu Hua's spirit and activated the Herrscher of Reason's powers to rebuild her body.
An exact replica.
This one even had hyper-variable genes.
However, her hair was now a mix of pink and whiteher Chiyou Sennin form.
Feeling the surge of power, Fu Hua furrowed her brows.
Just who was Takumi?
To restore her body so easily, and to its peak state?
Over the years, her power had only waned.
She thought she'd never return to full strength.
But now, just like that, she was back?
Terrifying.
And to Takumi, it was probably just a casual gesture.
If he really wanted to destroy her, it would've been effortless.
Himeko also looked like she'd had a mental breakdown.
Seriously?!
Is it even necessary to fight Herrschers?
Aren't they all on the same side now?
Theresa stood frozen too, at a loss for words.
Little Shiki, seeing all these familiar faces, immediately began enthusiastically greeting everyone.
Everyone returned her handshake and greetings in stunned silence.
Her overly friendly behavior left them speechless.
"Kiana, let's train together next time!" "Mei, now that I'm a Herrscher too, let's fight sometime!" "Bronya, nice! You really matured well!" "Big Bronya, teach me how to grow up pretty like you!" "Himeko-sensei, congrats on recovering!" "Young Himeko, you're way prettier than the older one." "Theresa? You're just a shrimp, why're you the principal? Step down! Let me take over!" "Yo, Durandal, let's spar sometime." "Rita... still playing the sidekick today, huh?"
After going around once, everyone was starting to get annoyed.
Did you hear yourself?!
Looking for a fight?
"Otto, you old dog?!" "Take my punch!!"
Just as everyone was growing irritated, Little Shiki noticed Otto walking in.
All those negative memories came rushing back.
She charged at him.
Internal Impact Skull Splitter!!
Her fist crashed down on Otto's head.
Caught off guard, Otto was launched into the air and slammed straight into a building at Saint Freya.
Boom!!
The impact alone demolished the entire structure.
Clearly, Little Shiki didn't hold back.
Everyone looked on, their expressions twitching.
But not long after, Otto crawled out of the rubble.
"You're really something else..." "Old friend, you became a Herrscher too?"
He had only come to see what was going on.
But instead, he got punched out of nowhere.
By Fu Hua, of all people?
Otto was completely bewildered.
What just happened?
Looking utterly miserable, Otto scanned the scene.
His eyes landed on Fu Hua standing beside Takumi, then flicked to the Herrscher of Knowledge.
He more or less pieced it together.
This was Takumi's doing, wasn't it?
Had it been anyone else, Otto would've been decapitated by now.
He didn't know how Takumi had pulled it off.
But it didn't matter. At this point, nothing surprised him anymore.
"Old friend, you really hate me that much, huh?"
Otto looked toward Shiki, sighing internally.
Why did this girl want to punch him the moment she saw him?
What did I do this time?
Chapter 130: Let Me See... Just a Simple Copy Will Do
Kiana Kaslana (Herrscher of Knowledge) gritted her teeth the moment she heard Otto's words. "I really want to tear you to pieces!" "What an absolutely infuriating guy!!" Her expression twisted into a rage-filled grimace. The memories she had made her want to shred him apart.
Otto raised an eyebrow. Tear him to pieces? He looked at the Herrscher of Knowledge, then at Fu Hua. Slowly, he pieced it together. This girl has Fu Hua's memories, doesn't she? Ah, so that's how it is! I see now! In that case, there was nothing more to say.
"Well then, I sincerely apologize." What's the harm in apologizing? So, Otto offered an apology first.
Kiana scoffed coldly at that. "Have you finished your arrangements?" Takumi interrupted them at that moment. Now wasn't the time for banter. Let's get to business. He still had things to handle later.
Otto nodded. "Everything is already arranged." "The Divine Keys you requested and Kallen's body have all been delivered." "They should arrive shortly."
To see Kallen again, he even had Amber use the Second Divine Key to speed things up. So yes, they would arrive soon.
Takumi nodded back. "Then there's no problem." "I assume World Serpent is watching us too, right?" As he said this, Takumi looked toward a surveillance camera nearby.
Otto looked surprised at first, but then relaxed. Given everything that had happened, it'd be weirder if they weren't watching.
"Gray Serpent, come on over." "I'll be heading to the Elysian Realm soon." "Fu Hua's memories have all returned." "I can even retrieve your revered lord while I'm at it."
Takumi spoke directly to the camera, unconcerned. In a faraway place, monitoring everything, Gray Serpent heard Takumi's words and sank into thought.
In the end, he made his decision. He didn't know Takumi's motives, but he had clearly learned a lot. And Fu Hua's memories were completely restored. Then he would go. After all, Takumi did say he'd bring their master back. Might as well go see for himself.
He began giving orders immediately. "A visitor from another world, huh..." Gray Serpent muttered to himself. No matter what, he had to meet him first.
After the conversation with the camera ended, Takumi blocked all cameras in St. Freya Academy.
"Honestly, your St. Freya is full of holes." "Even if there's intel to transmit, the receiver's probably the last one to know." Takumi didn't even know how to mock it properly anymore. St. Freya had no real secrets.
Theresa had no way to refute himshe felt hopeless herself.
With that matter handled, Takumi casually chatted with Otto. Not long after, a ripple distorted the sky. A massive locomotive appeared above.
It was the Second Divine KeyHelios: Chariot of a Thousand Realms.
"Mr. Takumi, please~!" "Everything you requested is here."
Takumi nodded and stepped forward. The others, curious, followed closely behind.
Helios stopped. Amber disembarked with several boxes in hand. Behind her, someone carried a crystal coffin. Inside, a woman lay in silence. It was Kallen.
"Lord Otto!" Amber handed the items over. Otto turned to Takumi and opened a box. He took out a golden cube.
"This is the Imaginary Archive." "And here, the Second Divine Key."
"Durandal, hand over Abyss Flower." "Theresa, give Mr. Takumi the Key of Restraint as well." "The remaining keys, Judgment of Shamash and Whisper of the Past, are not with me."
Otto gave everything he had to Takumi. These were all the Divine Keys in his possession.
The Genesis Key was in Durandal's hands. She silently handed over her lance.
Seeing that, Takumi spoke up. "I just need to make a copy." "You should keep the original."
"As for the rest, I'll be taking them." Takumi only needed to duplicate Abyss Flower. He wouldn't take the original. The rest? Copy whatever he could. If it couldn't be copiedoh well.
Same with Theresa's Judas. Let her carry it. Takumi would just make a duplicate.
"Copying them, huh?" "Using the Herrscher of Reason's ability?" "Mr. Takumi can already replicate them completely?" Otto was amazed.
Just copy one and be done with it? He didn't even need the original? Did this mean Takumi's copies were virtually identical to the real thing?
"Exactly." "Even if they lack cores, I can just slot one in." "I can copy these things whenever I want." Takumi shrugged.
With the Divine Keys in hand and Otto's knowledge, Takumi could now even create pseudo-Herrscher cores. Slotting them into his copies was no issue.
Otto nodded in understanding. He said no more. He'd handed over what he had. What Takumi did next was his own business.
Takumi stowed the Imaginary Archive and Chariot of a Thousand Realms. Then, he began duplicating the Genesis and Restraint Keys.
"I have one too. Want to copy it?" As Takumi was working, Bronya approached. She held the ninth Divine KeyStar of Eden.
A device capable of manipulating gravity and creating black holes. It had been entrusted to her by Welt Yang.
Hearing her offer, Takumi nodded. "Of course. Thanks, Bronya!" He wasn't shy about it. He duplicated it immediately.
"Copy the Key of Corruption as well." Raiden Mei also spoke up. She currently wielded that key. Takumi had helped her a lotit was only right to return the favor.
"Even if you didn't say it, I'd ask!" "And that Fourth Key in the skyI'll copy that too." "Oh, and the Blank Key on the HyperionI want that one!" "And Raven's Seven Thunders of Retribution!"
Takumi declared: he wanted them all!
He wouldn't be satisfied otherwise. He planned to copy every Divine Key. He wouldn't miss a single one.
Whisper of the Past was already here. Only Judgment of Shamash remained. This haul had been tremendous. Takumi was quite pleased after finishing the copies.
"Now, let's get to our transaction." Takumi turned to look at Kallen's crystal coffin.
Otto's excitement surged. "I can hardly wait." "Mr. Takumi, I leave it to you." Otto was more thrilled than ever. His dreamfinally within reach.
Chapter 131: If You Want a Happy Life, Wear a Little Green on Your Head
Takumi approached Kallen's crystal coffin. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and cast a spell. A dark purple magic circle unfurled beneath the coffin, spreading across the surrounding area.
Everyone instinctively took a step back, afraid they might accidentally step on it.
"It's fine. It won't affect you." Takumi's lips curled slightly as he spoke.
His calm tone eased the group's tension.
Seeing the magic circle with their own eyes, everyone was stunned. They knew Takumi came from another world, but this was their first time witnessing magic. It was awe-inspiring.
Otto didn't care about anything else. As long as resurrection was possible, that was enough.
With the spell activated, Takumi summoned a shadowy figure. Unscientific? Maybe. But definitely magical.
The moment Otto saw the form, he trembled with emotion.
"Kallen!!"
Yes. That was his Kallen. Just quietly floating there. He knew it in his heart.
But
"Ehhhhh?!"
Theresa suddenly gasped. Before her eyes, another phantom had appeared.
Yae Sakura.
Otto turned to look. His expression immediately darkened. His murderous intent was obvious.
"Yae Sakura!!"
He snarled her name, teeth clenched. He instinctively reached for his side
Damn it! Takumi had taken the Divine Keys.
"Huh? So you came out too?" "Might as well bring you back too, then."
Takumi's voice came againthis time tinged with schadenfreude.
Just as Otto opened his mouth to object, Takumi had already begun again.
Several golden magic circles formed, locking onto both Kallen and Yae Sakura's souls.
Takumi used the Herrscher of Reason's powers to reconstruct Yae Sakura's body.
Once done, the array activated.
Kallen's soul merged into her body in the crystal coffin. A flash of holy light, and her soul and body became one.
Yae Sakura followed.
Otto had nothing to say. The spell was complete.
"Incredible... It really is magic!"
Theresa's eyes sparkled. She was the one most fascinated by magic. After all, she was Magical Girl Thereris.
Now, a real mage stood before her. How could she not be thrilled?
"Mr. Takumi, why'd you bring her back too?!" "I can smell that fox from a mile away!!" "Someone like her shouldn't be revived!!"
Otto was losing it. Completely frantic.
Kallen's revival should've made him happy. But with that damned fox coming back too
All joy was gone. He wanted to scream.
Seriously, what the hell was Takumi doing?
Otto even suspected this was intentional. Bringing back Yae Sakura just to mess with him.
"What's going on...?"
As Otto spiraled, Yae Sakura woke up. She looked around in a daze. Wasn't she asleep in the Stigma Space?
Feeling her body, she was surprised.
"Miss Yae, congratulations. You're back."
It was Mei who spoke first, smiling. She was sincerely happy for her.
"Revived..." Yae Sakura muttered, examining herself.
This feelingyes, it was real. She had been brought back.
She glanced around Then her eyes locked onto Kallen.
"Kallen?"
Seeing her slowly open her eyes, Yae Sakura froze. She rushed forward.
"Out of the way!" "You're not allowed near her!!"
As Yae tried to approach, Otto stepped in front. He blocked her path.
Kallen's first sight upon waking had to be himnot that fox.
Yae Sakura frowned.
"Otto... Sakura...?"
Kallen's voice broke the silence. She slowly sat up. Looking at the scene before her, she seemed confused.
Hadn't she died? Why was she?
"Kallen!!"
Otto's joy burst forth. He rushed to her side.
"Otto... Didn't I die?" She looked bewildered.
"Yes, you did. And now you've returned." "You've been asleep for centuries."
"Herethis is what's happened since."
Before Otto could react, Takumi appeared again.
And promptly dumped all of Otto's deeds and modern history into Kallen's mind.
The sheer influx of memory gave her a headache.
But soon, she adapted.
She sorted through the information. Her brows furrowed deeply.
"Otto, you?"
Her expression turned dark.
She hadn't expected him to have done so many awful things after her death.
"Kallen... I..." Otto was devastated.
He shot a look full of grievance toward Takumi.
He was sure of it. Takumi orchestrated this.
Brought Yae Sakura back. Stuffed Kallen full of damning memories.
No doubt, Takumi had cast Otto as the villain.
Otto was utterly speechless.
"Kallen!"
Yae Sakura ran to her. And hugged her tightly.
"Sakura!!"
Caught off guard, Kallen returned the hug.
"I'm so glad... We've finally met again." Yae Sakura's voice trembled.
"Yeah... We have." "So much has happened." "But now, we're reunited."
...
Otto realized it.
He was just the third wheel.
Maybe he belonged under the coffin, not beside it.
His emotions flipped like a roller coaster.
The happiness he felt from Kallen's revival was gone.
Only deep, bitter resentment remained.
