Neo genezis evangelion 1. chapter 21

On the calendar, Saturday, May 16, is the last day of school of the week and at the same time the sixth day of my stay in Tokyo-3 and the world of Evangelion. Today I got up after the alarm went off, although after yesterday's classes I was still wildly sleepy.

He yawned and cast a longing glance at the computer desk. More precisely, what was on it, namely, the hard drive that Shigeru handed over to me yesterday. I should have seen his guilty look, with which he handed me this device, accompanied by the following words: "There was no flash drive, and everything I found at home would not fit there... You'll figure it out, won't you?" No, in principle, I don't mind, after all, several dozen gigabytes of music leave a lot of room for choice, and connecting a hard drive is not too difficult a task... The only thing is that yesterday I was no longer up to it.

Well, now the usual routine is to go to the bathroom, dress yourself up, have a cup of coffee for cheerfulness, get dressed up, go after Ray and go to school. Although Misato was also at work this morning, she couldn't help us with transportation — her Supra was still under repair, and she intended to pick it up only tomorrow.

I think I'm starting to get involved in this rhythm of life...

* * *

Today's visit to the school turned out to be a much more serious test than expected. My newfound staff of suddenly appearing female fans moved on to more active action and, in addition to notes being shoved anywhere, went on a frontal attack. About half a dozen girls, probably the braver ones, even decided to talk to me...

I don't know what the truth is anymore, because I was smiling sweetly, making a face like a brick, and moving on, pretending not to hear anything around me. In short, I put all this fraternity in total disregard — fuck it, fuck such happiness, I'm not up to you yet, beautiful girls... Let's meet somewhere near the fountain at six o'clock in the evening after the war...

Fortunately, I was already getting used to the fact that I was being stared at by a wild number of people by my standards. They're watching and watching, what do I feel sorry for? I kind of didn't care about that anymore, and Ray certainly didn't.

In class, by the way, the female sex looked at me much more actively, although with obvious respect in their eyes. Judging by Aida's sly eyes, glinting behind wide glasses, the disinformation (hmm) about my relationship with the Ayanami was successfully spread to the masses. That's a nice thing, but for now we'll try not to stick our heads out too much in class, and at the same time find out more about the schedule of classes and vacations adopted here, it seems to me that it differs significantly from the Russian one...

* * *

Damn, I'm in shock! No, I'm SHOCKED!!!

So that's how... I found out about my current school schedule, but it doesn't make me fucking happy! Of course, I didn't get too worked up and ask my classmates questions like "Guys, from what day to what day do we study here?" or "How many quarters and vacations do we have here?" No, finally being reasonable and careful, I carefully found out or sifted out everything I needed from the conversations of others, and I also made the Younger One's neurons creak a little. Previously, I just didn't really care about collecting information and didn't listen too much to the conversations of others, but here I decided...

But again, that didn't make me fucking happy! Not only do you get overwhelmed with homework here, don't mess around, but it also turns out that there are serious problems with rest!

So, as it turned out, the school year in Japan begins on April 6 and is divided into three so-called trimesters. The first trimester lasts until July 20, followed by a kind of big summer vacation, and the second trimester begins on September 1...

Oh, shit! Yes, I had more at uni, not to mention school with its three months of rest! Figase, everything is tough here in Japan — no rest for children, fiends, damn it... Winter holidays here were not particularly encouraging either, because although they began on December 26, they ended on January 6. Oh, and where are our killer January holidays of extraordinary length? Generally an ambush...

And as for the last, third trimester, it lasts from January 7 to March 25. Then there is a small spring break (a dozen days? it's nothing at all, considering the pressures here!), during which the transition from class to class takes place.

But that's not all the "good" news.

As it turns out, students also get homework during the holidays. And sometimes they even continue to study during the holidays, if they didn't study well enough during the trimesters — working out, etc... And it also turns out that students themselves have to clean the school and the surrounding area after classes — there are a lot of cleaners here. And you need to do this every day, on your attached site — I just didn't know this rule, and even the headman was afraid to approach me with it. After all, I've already managed to create a frostbitten image for myself, and it's a bit difficult to imagine Officer NERV in uniform and with a weapon, cleaning up...

Well, no! I didn't do it, and I'm not going to do it! After all, there aren't many Eva's pilots in the world to distract them with such nonsense. Fuck such happiness... Oh, by the way, all the people here are enrolled in various kinds of clubs, which is almost mandatory. But I'm not going to sign up anywhere — I'm going to go somewhere, suffer some kind of nonsense... Into the abyss! I should have dealt with what I have already, otherwise I've already worked myself through the roof — I wouldn't have gone crazy...

But the main problem of Japanese schools, as far as I understand it, is exhausting exams, each of which takes several hours of hard work and much more time in preparation for it. It came as a complete shock to me that from time to time they cause suicides of schoolchildren... It's tough, isn't it? So that I can get upset over this kind of stuff? They can't wait, you freaks! Object A couldn't take me down here, so where is the whole Japanese school system going against junior Lieutenant Ikari?..

Okay, let's get back to our sheep... So, students take exams at the end of each trimester and in the middle of the first and second trimesters. Exams in Japanese, Mathematics, English, science, and Social studies are held in the middle. At the end of the trimesters, exams are held in all subjects studied, which usually take the form of written tests. Grades for exams are given according to a percentage system, the highest score is 100 points, but it is inhumanly difficult to score it, for this you need to be either a complete nerd or a complete genius. In short, the same EGA, only in profile, and, apparently, the same brain damage.

Nah... We don't need such happiness for nothing! If, on the whole, I don't even mind studying (it doesn't bother me much), then this nonsense will need to be dealt with, perhaps even using the full power of the bureaucratic NERVE machine, otherwise...

"Comrade Captain, I can't go to hand-to-hand combat and rifle training classes, I need to do my homework."..

Or not.

"I'm sorry, Commander Ikari, but I can't take part in repelling the attack of the object A facility in the exam right now."..

Yeah, shazzz... If they ran away, don't worry. I have more important things to do now than sit in school for the second time, studying things and subjects that I don't really need (I already know them anyway), to the detriment of the real combat training that I REALLY need right now.

Trump-passed exams will help me, of course. Especially for the seventh grade. Subjects A and ZIELE will simply freeze in fear when they see my certificate with marks for the trimester...

That's it, it's decided — I won't be a diligent student who passes everything on time and in the prescribed manner. In any case, we will use prohibited methods of pressure by authority...
